The most recent round of talks concluded last week, as the parties closed a final text and key negotiators prepared to consult with their capitals.
Those talks took place following a proposal submitted on July 26 by EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell.
The US described the tabled draft as “the best and only basis on which to reach a deal.”
On Friday, an Iranian official indicated that the Islamic Republic may accept the final compromise worked out in Vienna to save the 2015 nuclear agreement.
"The European Union's proposals are acceptable provided that they provide assurances to Iran on various points, related to sanctions and safeguards," as well as pending issues with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), an unidentified Iranian diplomat said.
On Sunday, an Iranian parliament committee said that the talks on reviving the 2015 nuclear deal must result in the removal of US sanctions in a way that safeguards Iran's economic interests.

Iran also sent the EU a steaming bucket of what its courier described as chocolate soup, bidding them to eat up and enjoy it. One junior diplomat was fired for declaring "this is nothing but sh!t!" and ejected from the building for "spreading mis-information". The rest of the EU's diplomatic core took bowl and spoon in hand and ate heartily. President Biden lamented his physical absence from the conference.

The day will come when the Israeli Air Force will have to act...bigly.

I wonder how much money Iran is getting this time.

Hope there are back channels between Israel and the KSA to overcome the logistical hurdles of doing that. If there are, we can thank God (and Trump).

Iran loves the JCPOA.
Barry gave them a gift on a golden platter.

My hunch is that the Arab Gulf states understand...quietly perhaps...that Israel isn't a danger to them, while Iran is.

The day will come when the Israeli Air Force will have to act...bigly. I partially agree with you.

Hard to imagine Israeli ground troops being involved. The navy? Maybe.

I’m just skeptical it can be done strictly from the air because it’s so far underground. Damage? Yes. Destroy? I doubt it.

Might be doable with air augmented with espionage and sabotage.

There's a series on Apple TV called “Tehran”. It was originally produced by an Israeli TV network. They say it's fiction...but I'm not convinced.

Supposedly the U.S. is going to agree that inspectors will not be allowed in some of the Iranian nuclear facilties. Biden is desperate to remove sanctions and get Iranian oil flowing to the West before the November mid-terms, so he’s going to sell out the U.S. and Israel.

No matter how far underground it is, there must be access points above ground.
Those are all you need to destroy.

Those are all you need to destroy I don't agree with you there since that would only be a short and temporary setback. To do real long-lasting damage you need to destroy the machines that do the enriching of the fuel to make it weapons grade material.
