Andrea Mitchell subs for Toady on MTP. She just did a hit on the Today show about MaraLago. It was an unscripted, bumbling, jumbling mess of TDS talking points that she couldn’t keep straight.

Let’s see how this works out - House DemonRats not going along with the Manchin- Schumer quid pro quo. Supposedly, Manchin had some sort of ‘leverage’ to assure he got his part of the deal. House DemonRats are screwing him - Manchin needs to pull his leverage lever or just ‘take it”. You would think he would know by now you cannot ever trust a DemonRat ... EVER

They will miss Manchin like a bothersome wart. But, not that much. The fact that the Senate is so close might bother them but they already know they have lost the House and will lose the Senate for sure in 2024 if not sooner.
They were never much for obeying laws anyway. They remain lawless and we are just now figuring all that out.
All true. Plus somehow they think Congress has the authority to try Trump on Insurrection charge. It is certainly not delegated to them in Constitution. Rather, all “judicial power” is delegated under Article III (3) to the Courts. It would not be a decision of the puny Democrat majorities but the 9 Supreme Court Justices at the end of a federal court appellate path where a Jury would probably knock it out from the git go.
It is true that Congress sometimes has a quasi-judicial role to fulfill, like Impeachment, where Chief Justice presides etc. (which didn’t even happen on the last go around). But that is specifically enumerated power under Art. II (2) Section 4.
If they mess around they’ll find out about a Writ of Prohibition filed in Supreme Court where the result would be 9-0
Congress is also prohibited from passing Bills of Attainder and Ex Post Facto Laws.

No, the Senate doesn’t get to vote again on the “Flush America Down The Toilet Bill” and I believe the House has passed it. Not sure if The Puppet FJB has signed it yet - he’s probably still on the beach somewhere.
We’re screwed where this ‘Green Energy’ bill is concerned. IF Manchin doesn’t get the second part of the ‘deal’, what HE wanted, that is when we’ll find out if he’s a political eunuch or not. Flipping the Senate for future DemonRat “destroy America” actions might help slow the Biden train down some because Mitch would them be in charge instead of Schumer .... Mitch is pretty slick (think Merrick Garden situation).
I don’t expect Manchin to pull the lever. He’ll get thrown enough of a bone to allow him to salvage his dignity & not pull his ‘leverage lever’ .... but it would have the Libs hair on fire & then some, if he did.
