The Wisconsin Assembly Republican leader who hired a former state Supreme Court justice to investigate the 2020 election fired him Friday, after the former justice and former President Donald Trump backed the lawmaker’s opponent.
Speaker Robin Vos firing of Michael Gableman ends a 14-month probe that began with Vos voicing full confidence in Gableman’s abilities.
Vos, in a statement first provided to The Associated Press on Friday, said Gableman’s reports “clearly showed concerns and problems with the 2020 election.”

He did nothing about voter fraud. I don’t know why Bannon didn’t have his opponent on.
Tank the election. Vote the Dem in.
Hopefully Gableman continues to work behind the scenes with True the Vote, Mike Lindell, etc.

True dat.......Adam Steen should ask for a recount. 200 and something votes at the last minute??? C’mon.........Vos is a butt wipe. RECOUNT!!!!
The voters chose Vos and endorsed vote fraud.
Is it an open primary in Wisc.? Can Democrats cross parties and vote in Republican primaries. I can’t believe people in Wisc. voted for Vos in the primaries. They are either ignorant, or the primaries were rigged.
Or maybe the people voted Vos out, but the fraud put him in?
Tank the election. Vote the Dem in.

No way WI wants to go back to the Democrat hell they created before Walker.
If you’re one seat away then it’s already there
No doubt.
I’d vote Dem in this race to get rid of Vos. Dude is POS.

Go ahead and give us all a huge property tax hike as the dems kill Act 10 and our schools collapse even more than they are, as the Teachers Unions gain max strength and teach only woke and gay curriculum.
If you do vote him out, we will be looking for you to pay our tax bills, personally.
You obviously are misnamed.
That could well be.
For those who have not been paying attention - the Wisconsin Legislature twice passed bills reforming election process. Each time, Gov. Tony Evers vetoed the bill. So, the elections this year are running under the same statutory framework as 2020. The only significant difference is that the Wisconsin Supreme Court invalidated the use of unattended ballot collection boxes outside of election offices.
Michaels would not have been my choice, but he is the nominee now. It is critical that Evers is beaten. Electorally.
