Exclusive — Warrant Shows DOJ, FBI Waited Several Days After Judge Approved to Conduct Mar-a-Lago Raid
Breitbart ^ | 12 Aug 2022 | MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 08/12/2022 10:44:43 AM PDT by conservative98

The warrant that authorized the search of former President Donald Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago shows it was issued by U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on Aug. 5, 2022, at 12:12 p.m.—nearly three full days before the Justice Department and FBI conducted a raid to execute it.

The raid did not occur until the morning of Aug. 8, 2022, when federal agents from the FBI arrived at Mar-a-Lago to execute the search warrant.

The document, obtained and reviewed by Breitbart News, shows that the DOJ and FBI waited several days after Reinhart approved the warrant to conduct the raid, something that severely undercuts the talking points issued by Attorney General Merrick Garland in a public statement on Thursday when he broke his silence to discuss the matter in televised remarks. Why the authorities waited several days to execute service of the warrant if the matter rose to such a serious national security issue is unclear. If what federal agents intended to obtain from the raid was such a risk to national security, the fact they decided to linger and wait for several days before executing is likely to become a major point of contention as this debate plays out in front of the public.

Some experts have pointed out far more plausible is that the FBI was on a fishing expedition
—-looking for evidence that could implicate Trump in Jan. 6.
-—Democrats and the Jan. 6 Committee want to charge Trump with “seditious conspiracy”
——they hope to make it impossible for Trump to run in 2024.
——ergo, a documents dispute is a pretext to get in and look for incriminating J6 evidence.

Yes, they should have gotten this material back from the person who stole it faster. He could have returned it the first time they demanded it, for example. Or they could have raided his home much sooner.

I think that’s the argument this piece is making, right? The DOJ should have conducted this raid a long time ago. I agree with that.

Ridiculous article – – they just read on Fox that the raid had to be conducted on a weekday. So if they got the raid permission at noon last Friday, they conducted it the next full business day.

Sounds like the DNC house organ Washington Post is moving towards a narrative of Trump as a Bond villain building nukes in the Maro Lago basement. Now all they need do is photoshop Trump petting a cat. Fun story line, but not as good as the one with Vladimir Trump frolicking with hookers in a Russian hotel room and paying them to soil the sheets on the bed President Obama once slept while he waits for his meeting with bother Putin to engineer his presidential election. You might want to tone down the Hollywood storylines, guys, to something that may be a bit more realistic. Otherwise, the only person that will believe you is Merrick Garland whose partisan motto is “fool me once and I will forgot you fooled me once when you fool me twice”.

Oh please I don’t care if it was 3 days or 3 minutes. There was no threat to national security.

Let's see, the FBI/DOJ waited 18 months to seek a warrant, plus held-off several days after they got the warrant before they even searched the place, and we're supposed to believe that their actions were based on a national security/emergency situation, having specifically requested the warrant because they believed President Trump was in possession of documents pertaining to nuclear weapons? This is Keystone Kops antics folks. Of course they padded the warrant request, to include such words as "Classified nuclear weapons documents" to guarantee that a Judge would sign it.

President Trump should have just deleted the words "Classified" from all the documents like Hillary did, then faxed them to Hillary's maid, like she did with her State Department emails. James Comey said in such cases as that, "no reasonable prosecutor would bring charges.”

So, the nuclear docs were SO IMPORTANT that these SOBs waited for several days before they raided Trump’s house?!?

If anyone, and I mean absolutely ANYONE, actually believes this horse hockey...they aren’t Liberal Leftists...they aren’t even Marxist Democrats.

Those people who actually believe this lie are just your garden variety willful idiot!

If Trump were home he would have secret service with him as all ex presidents do. When unknown armed men in uniform or plain cloths come near the president a firefight is very likely.

The Secret Service were there and the FBI knocked, and the Secret Service, appropriately let them in.

This article strongly implies that the Daily Caller has SEEN the warrant, and yet the only thing they can write about is the date?

How about THE CONTENTS OF THE WARRANT?

I assume it takes a while to requisition a govt plane, get the goon squad lined up, have a fleet of SUVs, etc.

It does.

They can't follow their own rules...

PROMPT EXECUTION OF SEARCH WARRANTS

In part...SOME REASONS FOR DELAY HELD ACCEPTABLE BY COURTS ARE TO EFFECT THE ARREST OF DEFENDANTS, PREVENT DESTRUCTION OF EVIDENCE, PRECLUDE THE FLIGHT OF A SUBJECT OR ACCOMPLICES, GATHER SUFFICIENT MANPOWER FOR THE SEARCH, PROTECT THE SAFETY OF SEARCHING OFFICERS, AND AWAIT THE ARRIVAL OF A PERSON AT PREMISES TO BE SEARCHED, WHERE BOTH ARE NAMED IN THE WARRANT. IN ADDITION, WEATHER, TRAFFIC, ROAD, AND TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL PERMIT REASONABLE DELAY.

They made sure he was gone, not present or arriving.

They waited until Monday for maximum news cycle effect - which proves the whole thing was just a political panty raid.

Very very good point. I had not even considered that that might be the reason.
