A protester has filed a federal civil lawsuit against the city of San Francisco claiming that a paramedic, under the direction of a police sergeant, injected her against her will with a sedative while she was handcuffed after being removed from a Golden State Warriors championship game for demonstrating in favor of abortion rights.
Kareim McKnight and a friend, Amanda Piasecki, were at Game 5 of the Warriors series against the Boston Celtics at Chase Center on June 13 when they walked onto the main floor and displayed a banner that read "Overturn Roe? Hell No!" A draft of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade was leaked in May.
McKnight said that once they were outside, a San Francisco Police sergeant threatened to have her sedated.

Fun to see a pro-abortion protester get injected by a pro-abortion police department in a pro-abortion city in a pro-abortion state.
Fake story.
I expect that will be determined in a court of law at some
point down the road. Was she or wasn’t she injected?
That’s what you get for disrupting the game and trying to ruin the evening fun for thousands of people.
Her pronouns are Ug, and Lee She claims that she was dragged out, choked, hogtied, and injected. Or what Hunter would call a typical first date
As far as dealing with those being arrested who are unruly and resistant, is being tasered any different that forcibly being given a sedative - from a civil rights/legal perspective?
And as for "on the orders of the cop" that so much horse manure. It's a filthy, slimy lawyer who represents a filthy, slimy Maoist client looking for a big payout.
Yes,it’s absolutely legal in some situations. I know...I saw it done many hundreds of times while working in a big city ER.
No big deal. She’s just a clump of cells
Note it was not just any “Woman”; it was a “U.S. Woman”. Later in the article: “U.S. Supreme Court”. They try so hard to be so clever with headlines, don’t they? It’s so cute.
After reading the article and seeing her picture, somehow veternarian and cow tranquilizer comes to mind when I think about someone giving her a shot. Just saying......
Yeah, I check the EMS boxes and orders post use. I’ve never seen standing orders, even for status epilepticus, for injection of benzodizepines (though I guess it’s possible, your state may vary).
In my state it’s called The Baker Act.
“Wear Green for Abortion”……No, they should wear red, dark blood red.
Not to mention that Roe V. Wade being overturned had no effect on her or anyone else to have an abortion in California.
