The billionaire Koch brothers’ network of donor-class organizations is lobbying members of Congress to pass an amnesty for illegal alien farmworkers ahead of the November midterm elections.
Last week, executives from the Koch-funded Libre Initiative joined officials from former President George W. Bush’s administration as well as farm owners to ask Republicans and Democrats to pass the Farm Workforce Modernization Act — an amnesty for as many as 2.1 million illegal aliens working on United States farms.
In a news release, Libre Initiative executives wrote that passing the amnesty plan is vital ahead of the midterm elections where Republicans are poised to sweep seats in the House and Senate.

It’s Koch brother now. David is dead. Charles is still alive.
David died in 2019.
Koch Brothers were a very key part of Uniparty fake wrestling.
As long as Republican voters could be hoodwinked into shouting “Koch brothers good, Koch Brothers good”, while Democrat voters shouted “Koch brothers bad, Koch brothers bad”, the Democrats could get away with convincing people that the Republican party was the party of corporate fat cats.
Now that our side has woken up, the Democrats don’t say a word about the Koch brothers anymore, the same way they love Bush and Cheney now.
why????
We allowed these guys to buy the GOP.
Did not realize that.
David died in 2019.
Fred Jr. died in 2020.
Just Charles and Bill left now.
Charles is 87 years old.
Bill is 82.
My guess would be closer to 40 million.
Poor little rich kids...
Had more money than they knew what to do with...
Back when the government actually enforced immigration law, the INS would run food trucks blaring Mexican music through farming areas.
The illegals would turn themselves in.
They are taking jobs already. Target and Ross this week. They speak no English and are of no help.
Tick away.
These &&&holes are behind the times. The “refreegees” don’t do farm work anymore. That’s the old refreegees. Now, they only work for the big bucks. They have cars, cellphones and 86 inch TVs they have to buy.
Koch is one of the few pure Libertarians that I have every seen.
As in the definition of “doctrinal”. Working for a Koch company was an experience.
We were often told “Be happy on what you make. You can be replaced by 20 people wanting your job from overseas.”
And they practiced with what they preached.
effing a-holes
The laws only apply to good citizens...
I’m sure it’s between 40 and 50 million.
The hard part to figure out, is how many of them have already
been taken in by the system. Once you have a work permit,
you’re on the greased skids to citizenship. At six years you
can apply for citizenship.
I wonder how many people know, that if you have a work permit,
you are considered to be in the system and legally here.
By the Left’s way of thinking, those people are no longer
illegal aliens at that point.
"Koch Network: ‘Clock Is Ticking’ for Congress to Pass Amnesty for Illegal Aliens Before Midterm Elections ..."
If I understand the title correctly, please consider the following.
Regarding illegal aliens being able to vote because they have been given amnesty, the wires are crossed somewhere imo.
If illegal aliens get amnesty they become permanent residents.
"Amnesty is to grant a pardon to those who have committed an offense. Under immigration law, is a governmental pardon for a person or group of persons who violated policies related to immigration. Immigration amnesty would include the government forgiving individuals for using forged/false documentation to gain employment in the U.S. and to remain in the country, and would allow illegal immigrants or undocumented immigrant aliens to gain permanent residency [Non-FR] in the United States.
But the problem with permanent resident status is that former illegals still don't have the right to vote in U.S. elections.
"Permanent residents, or “lawful permanent residents” (LPRs), also known as “green card” holders, are non-U.S. citizens who are lawfully authorized to live permanently in the United States. LPRs may work without special restrictions, own property, receive financial assistance, and join the armed forces. They can also apply to become U.S. citizens (to naturalize) if they meet certain requirements. However, LPRs [legal permanent residents] do not have any rights to vote in U.S. elections [emphasis added; Non-FR]."
So are blue states going to let new permanent residents vote anyway and bully Trump's red tsunami of patriot voters with a, "So what? What are you going to do about it?"
In which case patriots reply to the bully blue states, "For weakening the voting power of citizen voters, you lose House seats under the penalty of Section 2 of the 14th Amendment."
Excerpted from 14th Amendment...
"Section 2: Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State." [Section 2: Apportionment of Representatives]
"Section 5: The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
Corrections, insights welcome.
