I got the feeling that what ticked off Garland the most was that Trump announced the raid to the public. I think the DOJ/FBI planned to do something while “flying under the radar” and Trump foiled their plans (again).

Besides, if you’re going to flush something down the toilet to get rid of it, you make sure it flushes completely away.
