The raid on Mar-a-Lago was based largely on information from an FBI confidential human source, one who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents, two senior government officials told Newsweek.
The officials, who have direct knowledge of the FBI's deliberations and were granted anonymity in order to discuss sensitive matters, said the raid of Donald Trump's Florida residence was deliberately timed to occur when the former president was away.
FBI decision-makers in Washington and Miami thought that denying the former president a photo opportunity or a platform from which to grandstand (or to attempt to thwart the raid) would lower the profile of the event, says one of the sources, a senior Justice Department official who is a 30-year veteran of the FBI…

When the FBI says, “an informant told us where the evidence is hidden,”
this means there is no actual informant, and an FBI agent is planting false evidence.

If Trump was hiding something extra super secret and so amazingly valuable or juicy, why would he let some maid know where it was?
If Trump had something SPECIFIC that he shouldn’t have would be easy for them to define, so the premise is ridiculous to start with. But if it was someone higher and more important than a maid, and they left, then move the goods?

No, they didn’t want to create a “scene” with 30 agent crawling through Melania’s undie drawer.
why then did it take them 10 hours? I guess it was 1 hour to secure the documents, and 9 hours to romp through Mara Lago wearing Melania’s clothes. I think that’s possible given the fact that the FBI is deliberately recruiting perverts.
That or Trump really played the Justice Department for a gazillion dollars in free advertising for the midterms. An informant with misinformation can prove to be quite useful.
