He’s no comedian. Comedians are funny. He is an extreme leftist who gets paid big money to say snide things that trash normal people.
Wow. That just made me feel close to history, FRiend. I would shake your father’s hand if I had ever had the chance. The way the Left works, then and now, that took courage.
There were two books that really cemented my view of the Left:
One was “Witness” by Whittaker Chambers. In it, you see the tactics of the Left in their treatment of him, and it is shocking to realize that, even though the tactics are more sophisticated today, they are largely the same. Lying. Obfuscation. Personal Destruction. But in the end...the Truth bore out.
The other book was “Blackballed By History” by M. Stanton Evans. That is the one book that describes to a “T” just who McCarthy was, and his contribution to this country. And again, the tactics of the Left.
I will say-in reading that book, I realized how much of a partisan hack Harry Truman was. I appreciate his choice to drop the bomb, but I dislike him now, since he clearly demonstrated in his dealings with Communists in the government and with McCarthy, that the welfare of the Democrat Party was more important, far more important than National Security.

The Moral Equivalency that says They do this because of politics only. We do the same thing because of politics only.
That is void of an objective moral foundation. Something we see often.
But since you apparently didn’t mean it that way, sure. That is ok with me.
When the GOP retakes the House, they better have A8 hearings to rival the J6 hearings.

CBS should face an investigation for illegal campaign contributions - contributions in kind. Colbert seems to spend most of his show on propaganda.
