Sharing our concern seems a bit like Bill Clinton feeling your pain.
This whole social-media driven culture of "you must have an immediate reaction to everything that happens regardless of how little information you have" just kind of bugs me. I think it is a poor way to make decisions on important issues.
This is one of the reasons we want at least a one generation buffer between any future POTUS candidate, or future POTUS officeholder, and a non-U.S. citizen person in their lineage.
Plain Vanilla U.S. Americans only. No spice, no exotic flavoring, NOTHING.
We need to be able to rely on the purity of our POTUS’ love for, and fidelity to, the U.S. of A. If they are to receive certain accommodations, such as not being treated roughly by federal investigators, whether in office, or later out of office, there needs to be at least a baseline understanding that they will not abuse that unspoken privilege, or scandalize the rest of their fellow U.S. Americans by teating their own country like toilet paper. Trump has never done anything to upset that trust, whereas Obama, whose puported father was a U.K. citizen, thiught nothing of taking the U.S. down a peg or two, or ten, in the eyes of other fellow “global citizens”. So—Trump is getting what Obama deserved but didn’t get.
We have had a national asset robbed from us. Trust in our POTUS. Believing that our POTUS has our best interests at heart, and “naturally” so. Having been robbed of this, we respond by placing less value on the persons of our present POTUS and living ex-”POTI”, leading to the horrific result of a perfectly respectable living ex-president being treated like a lowfown brute while a mastermind anti-American ex-president pulls every string imaginable at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Obama called this pitch. Bank on it.

The desperation is flashing brightly. Will there be something like a drone attack to take out the Orange Man? Or a long range sniper? The sniper would disappear and the drone can be disavowed-”don’t know where that come from, there will be an Investigation.” If the raid leads to nothing then something more severe and final must happen. Perhaps they regard the voting machine algorithm as requiring way too much tweaking to be remotely believable even to McConnell and Pence and the job of Saving the State will have to be done before it gets to actual Election.

Bill. I could see this scenario: Obama and Susan Rice called Pence and asked him if he had any more ideas on how to take down his former boss. Pence said, “why not raid his home?”
McConnel didn’t say anything. Maybe he is disappointed that Trump was not home for the raid so that there could be pictures released of the fallen Donald with a gun awkwardly laid on top of his hand.
