I have long said that the Entertainment Business is not at all focused on Entertainment and is not really a Business either.
Maybe it’s changing, but I doubt it. I still think this industry is focused on Propaganda and is largely funded with dark money coming from drugs, pornography and government funds, foreign and domestic. Selling product to citizens with a few bucks in their pocket is not what they are all about.
Fox News viewers don’t make equipment purchasing decisions for $100M+ passenger jets.
Boeing doesn’t buy advertising time to influence the spending decisions of Fox News viewers. They buy ad time to shape the political narrative that Fox News peddles to its viewers. That’s why you see Boeing stooges like Lindsey Graham and Nikki Haley on Fox News all the time.

Amid all the stories of dying newspapers and magazines and declining viewership for television news, Right of center news is booming. Look no further than the Daily Wire, the Daily Caller, the Epoch Times, Tim Pool, Podcast of the Lotus Eaters (Sargon of Akkad) and on and on. Positively booming.
Its the same story in movies and TV. Netflix, Disney, Time-Warner, they’ve been getting crushed. Meanwhile right of center or just traditional minded entertainment startup companies have been doing quite well and are growing.
Its probably too late for the likes of CNN or CBS/ABC/NBC to ever recover. Their credibility is completely shot with audiences. Its probably not yet too late for the entertainment companies to get audiences back if they would drop the woke BS but unless they do a U-turn, it will get to the point that more conservative entertainment companies will have too much of a foothold in the market to be stopped - just like in the news business.
No doubt at least half of everything put out by Hollywood is for propaganda purposes. From what I have read that started back in the 50s.
