I understand that conservatives want to live peacefully. Problem is, that leftists are going to keep pushing until they are confronted.

I'm in 100% and will never spend a minute or dollar in NY, CA, or IL until leadership improves. My next vacation will be in my home state of Florida.

Well, I gave up CA wines. I am sure they will not miss my couple bottles a week but hey...its something.

We are being beaten slowly by more insidious acts such as differential prosecutions under the “law”. It is creeping into every court system and means we are not equal before the law.

That is going to force a more radical response, imho.

Most of NYS’s counties are MAGA red, Turley.

And NYS is supposedly a blue state.

And if NYC is so reliably lib, why did Deep State shove RCV down its voters’ throats for mayoral contests?

And NYS is not alone.

Your idea is silly.

If we don’t grow some elbows and push back, conservatives in 2050 will be the same as liberals today.
It’s not just the liberals going left. Everyone is going left. There are conservatives today who are completely reconciled to leftist modifications of the culture. Taxes, school prayer bans, euthanasia, lockdowns, mandatory vaccination, marriage laws, welfare, socialized medicine, firearms laws, public schooling, abortion...
We just keep adjusting, looking the other way, adapting — and coming to a boil.

Somebody needs to secede. I say it should be the big cities. Make themselves city states. NYC, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, can all go over the side as far as I’m concerned.

I think Prof. Turley’s idea is well worth implementing.

However I still think a D I V O R C E would be a better idea.
I, for one and I am sure there are millions of others, would love to live in a Republic once again before I die.

Oh, nose! California won’t fund travel to Georgia! So if the Devil wants to look for a soul to steal, he’ll fall further behind, and have to make a deal with Greyhound! Oh, the humanity!

Red states need to start forming and training their own infantry regiments. Wake me when that starts.

We’ve been kinda doing this for years . Generally we vacation in states like Wyoming Montana etc. My wife wants to visit some of the historical sites as in the Northeast but I’m resisting it. I feel states like Massachusetts desecrate our history.

I like living in Florida too. Thanks for highlighting it! It’s OK to leave the State by cruising & it’s great to have a number of ports like Cape Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Of the few negatives I avoid Disney in all aspects!

The proposal is a response to efforts by blue states to ban state-funded travel to red states that enact conservative laws on issues such as transgender bathrooms in school, biological men participating in women’s sports, and restrictions on abortion.

Don't forget election integrity laws.

I’m all for it. I’ve been for exactly this for a long LONG time. Call it an anti ESG alliance.

The state of New York leaned on the big banks headquartered there to start discriminating against gun manufacturers, gun stores, etc.

Texas responded by passing a law that bans Texas state agencies from doing business with any company that discriminates against gun companies. This would for example shut out such banks like JP Morgan from Texas’ $58 billion bond market.

We need a lot more of this, it needs to be a lot more states and it needs to apply to a lot more than just guns (add fossil fuels and anything else Leftists don’t like). Also, provisions need to be made to retaliate in kind against any state that imposes any sort of boycott against any state within the alliance.

Imagine companies, banks and hedge funds being shut out of Texas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, North Carolina, Kentucky, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Utah, West Virginia, at once. Think that would get them to back off? I do. That would wreck them if they didn’t. Its too big of a market and too much economic muscle for the ideologues in charge of the likes of even Blackrock or Vanguard or Citibank or JP Morgan to take on. If they got stubborn about it, their own shareholders would revolt and throw them out.

We can fight back. We just have to organize ourselves and be willing to do it.

We’re moving from Blue to Hard Red at the end of this month. Cannot wait! The great American divorce is happening.

This is an excellent idea. We, as individuals, have limited power to boycott anything. I’m not supposed to visit my daughter because she lives in NYC?

However, if a State bans travel for its employees for business, that means something. It’s reciprocal, so proportionate. The alliance aspect is what’s genius here. Go ahead, Newsom, “blacklist” another state and watch a hammer 20 times that size come down on you.

The only blue state I will be visiting anytime soon is my home state of Maryland.

There’s no real point in visiting a place like Cali or NY right now, and if they’re boycotting red states, why would I want these people in Florida, anyway?

Turley Proposes Red State Alliance Against Blue State Boycotts

This is exactly what I think the Confederates should have done in the time leading up to 1860. It's also what I think they should have done afterward.

Separate your economies from people who hate you. Separate your economies from people who want to screw you over.

This is what we should be doing today. We need our economies separated from California, Washington state, all the Northeastern states and perhaps a few others.
