Terrible lightning has never ever happened until we heard of climate change.
Since the reporters are inventing theories....maybe it’s lightning is causing global warming. The only part of the story that is factual is that there was a summer lighting storm and that people were killed.
The hottest DC temperatures on record occurred in 1918 and 1930. Funny how most records only show back to 1951, coming out of the cold spell of the 1940’s.

Good grief, these knee-jerk idiots are worse then a woman having menopause. Most of the Climate Change army are juveniles and kids that have been brainwashed in public schools. Children that are aware of their local weather and haven’t existed past a decade which qualifies them in no way to have gained any semblance of wisdom; experience in weather models; have awareness of global weather or have any understanding of weather conditions or its history to know what is considered a normal season or abnormal season and what variables can trigger extremes. Every day children are taught repeatedly ONLY talking points... that the sky is falling when it’s not; that the earths climate is in crisis when it is not. And anyone that disagrees is a hate-filled bad person who kills polar bears, cute snow seals and Flipper! These evil people must be ridiculed, smeared, called a denier and are a threat to democracy! That puts most every conservative in a re-education camp or face a firing squad! Deniers must be silenced, so polar bears don’t starve! Only Democrats care about snow seals and climate.

Public Service annoucements telling people that trees offer NO protection from Lightning would save more people than $1 Billion spent fighting “climate change”.

It’s summer. It’s hot. Particles move fast when they’re hot, and they rub together. Friction, etc. This kind of thing happens, especially when cold fronts come through and cause thunderstorms.
