Amnesty International ^ | August 4, 2022

Military bases set up in residential areas including schools and hospitals

...

Ukrainian forces have put civilians in harm’s way by establishing bases and operating weapons systems in populated residential areas, including in schools and hospitals...

...

“We have documented a pattern of Ukrainian forces putting civilians at risk and violating the laws of war when they operate in populated areas,” said Agnès Callamard, Amnesty International’s Secretary General.

“Being in a defensive position does not exempt the Ukrainian military from respecting international humanitarian law.”

The Stavka project. Overview of the situation on the fronts of the special operation on August 3:

The 56th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was liquidated;

Sands cleaned by 50%;

The foreign legion was destroyed in Nikolaev.

BID
Here in the telegram channels they discuss the real state of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based on the data of the General Staff, which leaked to the network.

Let’s comment:

- the staffing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine remains at the level of 43-48% - we confirm ;

- losses among military personnel - more than 191 thousand killed and wounded - we confirm ;

- statistics on missing persons are not kept - according to our estimates, about 20,000 ;

- medicine is working at the limit, the seriously wounded are taken through Poland for treatment in European countries (Germany, France, Italy) - we have no information;

- an acute shortage of small arms and bulletproof vests - already like two months ;

- the resource of some models of equipment transferred by the allies is ending (the first batches of American M777, M109, the new Panzerhaubitse 2000 and MARS II) - the partners did not transfer rem units to the equipment;

- the lack of qualified specialists in the operation of Western weapons, therefore, the equipment is operated by people without a deep understanding of the materiel - we confirm ;

- a problem with consumables, especially hydraulics and liquid nitrogen, necessary for M777 howitzers - we confirm ;

- in the field, an automated fire control system does not last long, fragments and dust are killed quickly enough; there are no opportunities for repairs on the spot, we have to send it to Poland, where there are both spare parts and specialists - we confirm;

Such a deplorable state of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can only testify to one thing - they do not have long to exist - draw your own conclusions!

The mainstream media is already spinning this report as flawed.

It’s weird that normally in the past an Amnesty report about American troops in Afghanistan and so on would be reported gleefully without question.

Times have changed.

Well, Amnesty International are a softie Leftist Group, however they are not a bunch of Propagandist, Lying Backstabbing Degenerate GloboHomoNazi Supporting Filth like your standard Ukraine supporting Democrats and NeoCons.

They DO use a few Virtue Signal Qualifications in the piece, hoping to be forgiven.

No, the Russians INVADING Ukrainian sovereign territory is endangering civilians.

See how simple that is? Amazing, ain’t it???

“Biden is willing to accept Bribes to the Last Ukrainian.”

So true; but what happens when the bribes stop? :-) Lots of talk about the U.S. trying to find the exit ramp.

Why Is the White House Quietly Griping about Zelensky Now?

Which Biden administration official is leaking to the New York Times’ Tom Friedman that the White House doesn’t trust Volodymyr Zelensky?

Your mileage may vary, but I see two possible motives here. Possibility one is that the Biden administration just wants the Ukraine-Russia war to end, and Zelensky isn’t playing ball, so the administration is getting ready to leave Zelensky hanging out to dry. Possibility two is that the administration foresees the Ukraine-Russia war going badly, and is preparing to use Zelensky as a scapegoat. They’re laying the groundwork to argue, “we did everything we could to help the Ukrainians defend themselves, but in the end, they were too incompetent, too corrupt, and too beset by infighting.”

Good old Amnesty International: so the Ukrainians are causing the Russians to fire artillery and missiles into civilian areas? The Russians are apparently completely blameless for firing into those areas - even they would know that civilians were there. and Amnesty Iternational wouldn’t think to condemn the Russians for an aggressive and illegal invasion of a sovereign country in the first place.

Somebody’s getting paid off.

I get so tired of this blame it all on the Ukraine nonsense,
when the Ukraine did not march across Russia’s borders.

ANY death and destruction that takes place, is due to Russia’s
military invasion.

It was on March 15th, that Zelensky withdrew his request to
join NATO.

Has Russia left? In eleven days, it will be five months
since he did it.

Read the Geneva conventions to start with. It is perfectly legal to fire on the civilian infrastructure if used by the enemy. The enemy is liable for the collateral damage.

When it is your country being invaded, all rules are off.

This is like complaining that jews fought from buildings in the Warsaw ghetto.

The Ukrainians as despicable as the Palestinian savages.

I, quite seriously, pray for the safety of the poor people in Donetsk that have been targeted for weeks and, lately, with butterfly mines.

Horse Manure.

Amnesty International Virtue Signaled and Qualified Statements as much as possible by trumpeting "Russian strikes that Amnesty International documented in recent months were carried out with inherently indiscriminate weapons" (in the very same article), to please the Democrat GloboHomo Left.

They just wouldn't take the final step and COMPLETELY COVER UP Uke War Crimes.

That's the burr in your shorts.

When it is your country being invaded, all rules are off.

Sorry, Nope, No Way that statement is true.

I will give you the TRUE STATEMENT on that subject:

When you have sufficient Power, all rules are off.

When you have sufficient Power, and exercise it effectively, you win the war, write the history, and everyone alive agrees.

When Ideologues and their constructs get this far out of hand and into unreality, the Poor, and the Middle Classs, and the upwardly Mobile, and the Well-To-Do, and even some of the Rich get the shaft Big Time.

Unfortunately, almost always, the Ruling Elite Oligarchs slip by, unscathed and even more powerfully wealthy, to continue managing their Herds of Serfs for their best uses.

Just wait until the Butterfly Mines are made Autonomous.
