WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal grand jury investigating efforts to undo the results of the 2020 presidential election has subpoenaed the White House counsel under then-President Donald Trump and his top deputy, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The subpoenas to Pat Cipollone and Patrick Philbin suggest an intensifying Justice Department investigation into the events surrounding the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
The grand jury subpoenas were confirmed to The Associated Press by a person familiar with the matter who insisted on anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

Pardon my cynacism, but Trump is now basically a private citizen. The FBI/DOJ/ETC is the greatest concentration of power in this country accountable to no except possible the sitting current president or a judge with with cajones so epic even unicorns would say it’s fantasy

They were *NOT* looking to “undo the results” they were looking to have investigations to see if the results were fraudulent.
There is ample evidence of fraud. And more keeps coming out all the time.
“2000 mules” is only the most recent and WELL RESEARCHED investigation, and contains actual evidence that would stand up in court. Evidence that the whole Democrat organization was involved, so it is a RICO case.
You nailed it. One of the many Obama whores will be assigned to the case and will rewrite the rules. Even if the whores rulings are overturned, it will be years in the future and the damage will be done. Remember, the process is the punishment.
Democrats of the radical left can use the system to generate negative publicity through leftist radio and TV outlets, but I’m not fooled. Most likely, more resolve among conservatives is being generated instead. The President issued a hyperbolic speech using metaphors—the usual. He didn’t cause any riot, and there was no real insurrection. Most people are probably long tired of the months of Democrat propaganda clucking.
