I know of no reason to believe that the massacre at Sandy Hook was staged. It was fairly typical of all those, from Howard Urnuh in 1949 the one that occurred in suburban Chicago on the Fourth of July this year. Usually a man, mentally ill or on drugs, legal or illegal, and motivated by a desire for revenge or Satanic possession. That being said, Alex Jones may have believed that Sandy Hook was staged for some reason.
Without reading the transcripts of the trial and not the biased media reporting, I don't know what Jones said either in his text messages or on his show. It is difficult to trust news sources that deride those who believe that man made climate change is real, that the 2020 election was honest, and the COVID shots are safe and effective, among other lies.
As an officer of the court the defense attorney is legally obligated to turn over anything requested during discovery.

Asking a defendant to hand over a copy of a contract the defendant no longer has a copy of is one thing, but to ask a defendant to dig through thousands of messages looking for messages of a certain type is another.
If they ere my lawyers, I would plant them. It is gardening time at Roselawn or some NJ swamp.
That only applies to communications between the attorney and client. Documents and records pertaining to the cause of action in the suit are required to be turned over.
Jones is a piece of crap for defaming the sandy hook parents. Gets what he deserves.
