The Spokane Police Department is investigating the circumstances that led to a man arriving at a local hospital with severe burns while still on fire.
The police department responded Monday to a report that a man had been dropped off at an emergency room at a Spokane hospital while still on fire, and that his clothes were covered in a flammable substance, according to a news release from the department. The incident that led to the man being on fire occurred in a neighborhood in northeast Spokane near the Esmeralda Golf Course.
The man sustained serious burns on 30% of his body and was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for further care. Police department spokeswoman Julie Humphreys said Tuesday afternoon that the man was alive as of Monday and that she could not disclose more information regarding his condition.

I would guess he probably came from that weirdo trendy festival they throw every year.
Willie Pete’ll do that...
A few years back, there was a big explosion at the house next door. It turned out the people renting the house were using butane to make hash oil. One guy got pretty badly burned. His buddy didn't drive him to the closest hospital 5 min away but drove him to one 15 min away and got him out of the car and left him. He wasn't still burning though.
Why? Do salamanders sleep with their hand in a bucket of water?
I are so confused by this
This is an actual idiot.
He’s not even a scientist....................
Goggle “firecracker vest”. funny as hell. I can’t post links from my tablet.
What seems to be the problem? Other than being on fire, I have a bit of a headache.
Take these forms and go fill them out. I burned that set up can you at least put me out before we fill out the paper work?
“...a man arriving at a local hospital with severe burns while still on fire.”
Well, at least there wasn’t any question about the “Golden Hour.”
This is one dumb fat dude...
I would guess he was in the bed of a pickup truck. That is the only thing that seems feasible and it would have kept the fire going ( or even reignited it if he was still smoldering.)
When I worked in a burn unit, 35 or so years ago, it wasn’t part of the treatment. However, using cold water immediately after a burn is recommended as first aid. It not only relieves the pain but actually stops the thermal burn and reduces damage.
Burns that don’t hurt are usually full thickness burns and are really bad news.
That actually happened on a plane a couple of decades back. Guy on a plane tried to detonate a bomb in his underwear as jihad and because he was having naughty thoughts.
He plays one on TV, just like Tony Fauci.
Now that’s what I call “coming in hot !”.........
And find out we won’t get paid for doing it? No.
Was this for Jackass, or America’s Funniest Home Videos?
Well fire, ambulance, and rescue workers know that fluoride is best for burns, can even use toothpaste in a pinch.
So I’d guess your water had a small amount of fluoride too?
