Though the Trump Tower in New York City might be the most famous Trump Tower out there, there is another one in America that’s drawing in patriotic tourists that are big fans of the former (and likely future) president.
There are two big differences between it and its namesake, however: it’s located about 50 miles outside of Houston, Texas, rather than downtown in New York City, and it’s a cheeseburger rather than a skyscraper.
The Trump Tower focused on in this piece is a 16 oz cheeseburger decked with all the typical toppings and something special–American cheese, “Trump” sauce, lettuce, and tomato–and is sold out of an up-and-coming burger joint named “Trump Burger” in Bellville, Texas.
Owned by a second-generation, Trump-supporting Lebanese American named Roland Beainy, Trump Burger is a terrifically-named burger restaurant that’s meant to appeal to MAGA patriots of the area (which is about as ruby red as you might expect: it went more than 80% for Trump in 2020) and has apparently been drawing in not only Trump-loving locals, but quite a few tourists.
The novelty of the place makes the “why” for the tourism factor obvious: the place appeals to all those that love the former president. The menu items are almost all named after Trump, with the Trump Tower burger being one of the most popular items, the buns the burgers are all served on are branded with “Trump,” and the menu even includes a joke at Biden’s expense: there’s a joke “Biden burger,” which is just one ounce of beef for the price of $50.99. With the Bidenflation problem still in full force, they might soon have to raise even that price a bit.
Beainy, commenting on why he supports Trump, told the Houston Chronicle:
“Being an immigrant from a place where everything is bad and you work for almost $200, you see somebody like him to support the country and get the economy doing better. Me being an entrepreneur, I appreciate what he did.”
A local, commenting to the Houston Chronicle on the restaurant and the tourism it’s drawn to the town, even after the election, said:
“I thought they’d be out of business after the elections, but you come here on the weekend, you see a big line of motorcycles, sports cars and antiques and Trump flags. They’re all from out of town.”
The Trump Tower in New York might have all the ritz and glitz, but the one in Bellville sure does sound quite a bit better. I, for one, would sure rather enjoy a juicy burger cooked by an America-loving patriot than make the trek to the crime-wracked city of New York to look at a building that might be nice but happens to be in one of the nastiest cities in America.
Plus, the people surrounding the Bellville Trump Towers sure sound a lot more fun and patriotic than the average blue stater.
I rarely go towards Houston but I might have to make a little road trip
Heck, I was born and raised there but Hub had the good sense to get us out before we started a family.......I go to Dallas more than Houston but Bellville is prolly less than an hour from us and the day trips Hub and I plan for may include Bellville.....;)
Did you read the description? It's got 8 oz of meat. Two people could easily split one.
When I was vacationing in Colorado a few years ago, I drove 1 hour out of my way to eat at “Shooters” in Rifle, Colorado. I spoke with Mrs. Bobert (now representative) briefly. She seemed like a very good person. She owns it but she worked just like all the others in the restaurant.
While there I noticed a few open carry patrons. I am sure their were several more concealed as I.
And it’s angus. I get my beef from a local farmer who fattens on corn and finished on grass. He’s got angus beef. It’s great. I don’t mind cooking my own burger
If I’m going to a Trump restaurant I’ll take my piggy bank and get me something fancy
Fort Worth, Mid Cities are my stomping grounds. I’ve driven through Houston on the way to catch a ship out of Galveston. In fact, I’ve never done anything around the Texas Gulf coast. But I could make this trip to support this guy. You and Hub were smart to get out.
The ONE ounce burger priced at $50.99 is the best punchline ever.
Bellville is less than an hour away from me. Also, if you look up Conservative town in Texas, the illustration with be of Bellville! You would like it there. ;-)
Well now that he’s getting publicity, he might get sued for trademark infringement...

Our son lives and works in Ft. Worth. His daughter works there and his other daughter lives in Ennis. We live so close to Galveston (about 80 miles) and used to go there all the time but Hub’s illness prevents that right now but come fall when all the kids are back in school and the weather gets cooler is when we’ll go back even if just for a day. We never tire of it and thank God for George Mitchell who made it a great place to live and visit again.
Biden burger
79 year-old piece of meat between two 8 year-old buns!
Sounds wonderful! I think my ancestors settled near there when they came to Texas in 1836.
LOL - good one.
Love it!
Trump Burger ROCKS! :-)
