‘Ron DeSantis would love to have her on the debate stage to take Trump down,’ strategist says
Rep. Liz Cheney’s steely and forceful demeanor during the House Jan. 6 select committee’s public hearings has proved she is her father’s daughter. So it is no surprise the Wyoming Republican is not ruling out a presidential bid — even if to play a spoiler role.
“At this point, I haven’t made a decision on 2024,” she told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday. “I’ll make a decision on 2024 down the road.”
“Her presidential primary prospects are limited. But she could make Trump’s life miserable during the campaign,” said Brad Bannon, a Democratic strategist. “Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would love to have her on the debate stage to take Trump down.”

If DeSantis was to bring her into his campaign he’d show himself to be too stupid to be president.

DeSantis needs to run in 2024 and prove his mettle. It’s a real bad sign if he ducks a match up against President Trump. That’s not how you beat violent Marxists.

No he’s not stupid and hope knows math. 4/years plus 8 years is better than just 8 years. He doesn’t have to “prove” anything by running against Trump when he believes in all the things Trump stands for.
DeSantis and Trump have a plan and that plan is Trump in for four more years being the bull in the China shop and then DeSantis coming in with brand new China to replace all that was broken.
She is not a Republican. What primary will she enter?
If he wants a political future, DeSantis should not run against Trump in 2024. Besides hurting himself politically, he would cause divisions within the party. Anyone think Cruz would challenge Trump in 2024?
Pence and Pompeo will probably challenge Trump and fail miserably.
