IMHO, this is a scam. Essentially more money for government, as if it’s not big enough now.

Heaven did not curse me with a billion dollar lottery win, thank goodness. This time. 😁

He’ll be broke once he pays Illinois’ taxes. He might even be in debt when they are finished with him.

Interesting that 13 long considered unlucky was the first number in the winning mix of them.

He’ll be broke once he pays Illinois’ taxes. It's interesting that lottery winnings aren't taxed in California.
This amount will ruin someone's life or that of their family. Give me a one million dollar winner, where it won't matter much to anyone other than the people trying to persuade you on how to invest/manage it.

Good thing it’s a multi-State lottery. Wasn’t Illinois reneging on lottery payouts a few years ago?

$1.337 billion winner...
That’s why I won’t play. One winner for $1.337 billion.
Now, if they divided that into 1,337 x $1,000,000 prizes, I’d throw in a couple bucks for tickets.
Or...13,370 x $100,000 prizes...I’d buy a lot of tickets.
And, I bet, a lot MORE people would play.

Maybe because Polaroids aren’t easily subject to digital manipulation?

You’re right, multigenerational money and the problems it brings to the “average” lottery ticket patron is not good.

My plan would be to split the winnings amongst a couple hundred investment firms and then let them Game of Thrones it out as to whether they stay in my employ. Any losses, and that firm is gone.
