Just hours ahead of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s planned trip to Asia, Chinese state media has threatened to shoot down her plane and U.S. military pilots escorting her.
The threat comes 24-hours after President Joe Biden spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping for two hours on a call from the White House. The communist government’s readout of the conversation also included a threat in response to Pelosi’s planned trip to Taiwan.

Meh, Pelosi will be safer flying to Taiwan than riding in the passenger seat of her husband’s car.
Agreed that we’d be much better situated with President Trump. Remember when he ordered the cruise missile strikes on the Russian aircraft in Syria? Between his sometimes crazy political speech and sane, positive actions, he’s sly as a fox.
But either way, in warfare, generals and intel and security offices run the show for the most part. Presidents sign stacks of papers and do as advised.

I saw that. I was responding to a specific comment by the FReeper: “Has the right” is not the same as “threatening to shoot them down.” The threat to shoot them down came later.
