It would be wonderful if these visitors were also dropped off in Georgetown and the other affluent areas around DC
Maybe drop off a bus load or two at Sidwell Friends School. Maybe Georgetown Prep. They’re all run by and attended by liberals, the folks that say they love these visitors. Let them show the world how much.
Only for the ones that mow the grass, wash dishes, clean the houses, replace the roof, lay bricks, and dig ditches.

I suspect the only place Abbott can send the illegals is to DC. Trying to dump them into another state might be a constitutional issue.

If DC were a state, as governor...she’d be able to fund-up their activation. Being a mayor? Just to put forty guys on ‘duty’....she’d have to crank out serious money for a 30-day activation.
If you read through the whole script....she wants the Armory used (over by RFK stadium, on the far east side of town)...away from the up-scale westside. It sounds like the national guard guys would just be operating the Armory...feeding them, and ‘correcting’ behavior when required. I suspect the city just doesn’t want the job. I also suspect that the guard will not be activated by the Pentagon, unless Biden himself demands it.
The bigger deal...if this bus-delivery thing continues, just how many will be there by the fall of 2023? There’s zero indication that it will end any time soon.
