Former President Donald Trump defended hosting the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Series at his Bedminster, NJ course on Thursday, brushing off criticism from families of 9/11 victims by saying “nobody’s gotten to the bottom” of the 2001 terrorist attacks.…
“Well, nobody’s gotten to the bottom of 9/11, unfortunately, and they should have as to the maniacs that did that horrible thing to our city, to our country, to our world,” Trump said. “So nobody’s really been there.”
The former president then attempted to put a positive spin on the event, saying, “there are a lot of really great people that are out here today, and we’re gonna have a lot of fun.”
“We’re going to celebrate and money’s going to charity,” Trump went on. “A lot of money [is] going to charity.”
In a letter to the former president this week, a victims’ families group pointed out that even Trump himself had once accused the kingdom of being behind the atrocity.
“Who blew up the World Trade Center?” Trump told Fox News in a 2016 interview. “It wasn’t the Iraqis — it was Saudi. Take a look at Saudi Arabia. Open the documents.”

OK for Biden to go to Saudi to beg for more oil, but not OK for Trump to host a golf tournament. The PGA Tour, by the way, used to give permission for its players to play in a tournament in Saudi. Is this really just about hating Trump?

As an aside, the PGA Tour just recently canceled pre-existing contracts to host tournaments at Trump, Inc. golf courses.
The PGA, like too many Org.s caved to Woke Mob outrage. Trump sued them for breach of contract and won a significant settlement.
It is highly likely President Trump is hosting the LIV as a FU to the PGA and their breach of contract cave-in to the Woke.
But if they have torture, slavery, and beheading, they’re probably not nice guys....just saying.
The bush’s and Saudi royal family were and are great friends no justice among the elite.

That works both ways. Trump can’t be critical of Biden begging the Saudis for oil and then taking millions from them to use one of his golf courses. Another unforced error by Trump. He just gave the Dems a talking point that just may stick.

Iranian officials, in a first, have admitted to facilitating the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the U.S. by secretly aiding the free travel of al Qaeda operatives who eventually went on to fly commercial airliners into the Twin Towers in New York City, according to new remarks from a senior Iranian official.
Mohammad-Javad Larijani, an international affairs assistant in the Iran’s judiciary, disclosed in Farsi-language remarks broadcast on Iran’s state-controlled television that Iranian intelligence officials secretly helped provide the al Qaeda attackers with passage and gave them refuge in the Islamic Republic, according to an English translation published by Al Arabiya.
