INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A federal judge has ordered Indianapolis Public Schools to allow a 10-year-old transgender girl to rejoin her school’s all-girls softball team while a lawsuit continues against a state law that bans transgender females from competing in girls school sports.
U.S. District Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson in Indianapolis issued a preliminary injunction Tuesday on behalf of the girl, finding that she “has established that she has a strong likelihood of succeeding on the merits” of her claim.
“She has also established that she would suffer irreparable harm for which there is no adequate legal remedy,” Magnus-Stinson wrote in her order of the girl, who will be a fifth-grader when classes resume in August.
Indianapolis Public School had told the girl’s mother earlier this year that her daughter would no longer be able to play on the girls’ softball team because of the new law, the judge added.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana filed the lawsuit on behalf of the girl in hopes of blocking the law. The suit was filed in May, minutes after Republican state lawmakers voted to override Gov. Eric Holcomb’s veto of the legislation, and alleges that preventing the girl from rejoining her team because she is transgender is violation of Title IX and the U.S. Constitution.

Apparently, the judge believes there is no claim of “irreparable harm” for which there is not an “adequate legal remedy.” And we wonder why our society is so litigious.
Actually, if I recall the recent NCAA ruling correctly (always a big “if” for me), if the transgender girl has not entered puberty yet and takes the appropriate hormone medications, “she’s” good to go in terms of playing on the girls team.

In previous postings on the topic, I’ve made it clear that being nice and accommodating falsehood once just primes the pump for demands to accept more and more absurd falsehoods. So we progress from it’s gender not sex to gender is the same as sex to women can have penises and men can get pregnant.
To be blunt about it, the trannys only have power because of their enablers, specifically office holders who had decided to back up their claims with governmental power (including force). Until those enablers are destroyed politically, socially, and, if necessary, even physically, and their powers returned to the people, this abuse will continue.
It is also my view that true dialogue with the activists (pick your cause) is impossible because all their propaganda short circuits it by providing preformatted answers (actually slogans) so very little actual analysis of what is being said is being done. This is obvious whenever a deprogrammed leftist is interviewed and expresses genuine astonishment at how different real conservatives are from what the Left imagines them to be.
