With all do respect, this author is categorically wrong, and is promulgating a narrative born out of the flawed Miller decision that not only is contraindicated in both the history and past legal writings, but in the Heller decision he so casually dimisses. My prediction for their gun plan is they will just keep things going down the cultural slope like it has been for the last 100+ years, while keeping everyone fat and entertained. There is no confiscation for a very long time. They pass their laws, executive orders and court rulings against importation, manufacturing and new purchases and wait for the guns to be turned in or registered as required as the decades roll on and the generations pass. Eventually nobody will bother to get off the virtual reality couch when they do come pick up great great grandpa’s dusty guns.

For instance, AR rifles punch holes in paper well, and are also extremely useful for hunting. There’s not much better when a bunch of pigs are tearing up your fields...
At the moment, I feel MUCH safer with those weapons available than I would if they weren’t...especially with the current crop of criminals wrecking our country!
