They are counting on people not remembering that Al Gore did exactly what they claim will "end democracy". He refused to admit that he lost his election, and tried to mount an insurrection to overthrow the election results in Florida.
Under the Liz Cheney rules he should be in prison today.

My recollection is that this is the same Al Gore who said in 2008 that the arctic might be permanently free of ice by 2014. Also, when once asked who he wanted the Republican nominee to be, he said Ronald Reagan, as he would be easy to beat.

As is his wont, Al Gore is totally tone deaf to public sentiment (which is why he was never elected president).
I believe he’s the guy who made millions setting up a “carbon exchange.”
It makes sense if you believe, as the EPA does, that carbon dioxide is a pollutant. Just a reminder: Carbon dioxide is a trace gas (around .04% of the atmosphere) that is necessary for life on earth. It’s what plants breath.
The MSM encourages people to make the inference that Global Warming and Climate Change are the same thing. The names differ, but the enemy, carbon dioxide and capitalism, remains the same. Likewise, socialism is the solution in either case. Vote Democrat to save the planet.
We are told that CO2 leads to Global Warming. An example would be a mild Chicago winter.
