STEVE BANNON IS DISRUPTING DEMOCRACY. THIS IS HOW

As a single mom with a full-time job, Wendy Ahrenkiel had little time for politics. But after the 2020 election, when Joe Biden was declared President, she felt cheated — and found the time.

Ahrenkiel, 47, has heard the arguments in the mainstream media about how claims of a stolen election in 2020 are unsupported by credible evidence. But she still doesn’t buy it.

“I thought that there's a lot of funny things that went on with the election,” she told CNN. “That made me just do my own research.”

That research led her to talk politics with friends — many of them moms like her — who clued her in to a show called “War Room,” hosted by a man with whom she was only vaguely familiar: Stephen K. Bannon.

Bannon doesn’t just touch on the election canard, he pounds it with a sledgehammer day after day on “War Room” — a program that reaches audiences online and on air.

A Psychotic Break is in evidence is this deranged headline and article, and it passes for Consensus Reality. Good grief.

War Room is my go to news source. Bannon is spot on and relentless, and has all the best guests. I listen to a few other shows selectively - VERY few - like Tucker Carlson.

My acid test when assessing media pundits and politicians is always the same: will they talk about the elephant in the room - the stolen election and the Jan 6th protesters rotting in jail?

If they won’t talk about that - then they are either morons or sell-outs.

I just attended a pig roast roast a few doors down the street from my house for Oz. He made a great stump speech which was well received by the Republican attendees. He pushed all the right buttons - except no mention of the stolen election.

No one in the audience brought it up either. He only said the word “Trump” once in passing and it seemed kind of under his breath.

I voted for Kathy Barnette, but I’m obviously going to vote for Oz vs Fetterman in the fall. Yet, I was hoping I’d be pleasantly surprised at this event - I wasn’t.

I cornered him at the end and asked him why no mention of Trump and the stolen election. His response was interesting told me (almost in a whisper) that he was in constant contact with Trump and that Trump “wants me to keep doing what I’m doing”.

Then when I pressed him further, he took me aside told me the priority now is to win in November - then once in the Senate he will focus on the DC corruption issue and work with other Senators and Congressmen to get to the bottom of what really happened.

I’m not sure I believe any of that - it doesn’t sound like Trump’s style at all - but oh well.

I wish Oz was more like Doug Mastriano or Trump himself - no games - just speak the truth and let the chips fall where they may.

Q: What is ‘disrupting democracy’?

A: Anything that CNN disagrees with.

Sounds like he’s taking the Virginia Governor campaign approach under sell the Trump connection and those issues, concentrate on state issues. Will it work in Pennsylvania like it did in Virginia? I don’t know. I live in WV, if I was a Pennsylvanian Oz certainly would not have been my choice for the GOP nomination. My biggest gripe about him would be his near nonexistent ties to Pennsylvania. However the tattooed thug BernieBot is a definite no! The problem with Pennsylvania is that is flanked by two urban cesspools - Pittsburgh & Philadelphia. It will be interesting.

Well why don’t you do them, then? What are you doing to enact change?

I think I see why she remains unconvinced.

“Stealing an election as blatantly as the Democrats did..”

I would expand that to say ‘as blatantly as the Democrats and RHINOs did..” That I think is much more accurate.

Well it would be, if you spelled RINOs correctly.

DISRUPTING DEMOCRACY

"Democracy"....another word the radical leftists have "repurposed" (changed the meaning).

It now means: The RAT gravy train.

In which case, destroying it is a good thing.

(I)t is very clear that in fundamental theory, socialism and democracy are almost, if not quite, one and the same. They both rest at bottom upon the absolute right of the community to determine its own destiny and that of its members. Men as communities are supreme over men as individuals.

— Woodrow Wilson
I have seen no evidence showing that socialism and democracy are not one and the same, frankly. Therefore, that which disrupts democracy (socialism) is utterly necessary.

You know, I fully get people who just want to withdraw. Go home and do what you want until everything falls down around you.

But I can’t. I am getting involved in a futile exercise in my blue state, doing things that have zero possibility of bearing fruit because of the monolithic Leftist grip on all aspect of life, engaging in a political process I have come to despise, but I have to do it, because having my insides eaten away by the anger and simply bellyaching on Free Republic aren’t going to help me.

I don’t have the heart to condemn people who want to retreat into a shell, I understand it. But it pisses me off to hear those same people snarkily popping off at those who do speak out and put their reputation on the line.

We should be grateful there are people who will still do that, otherwise we will reach the endgame desired by the Left far more quickly than we otherwise would.
