Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said Sunday that the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot is “fully prepared to contemplate a subpoena” for Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, if she won’t testify before the committee voluntarily.
“The committee is engaged with her counsel. We certainly hope that she will agree to come in voluntarily but the committee is fully prepared to contemplate a subpoena if she does not,” Cheney told CNN “State of the Union” co-host Jake Tapper. “I hope it doesn’t get to that. I hope she will come in voluntarily.”

I could have explained my question better. I'm wondering if there might be a new committee to investigate the current Jan 6 committee (that is distinguishing itself in such a scary way.)
Liz the Diz is considering a subpoena for God because someone suggested He may be a Republican.
1) Print out a 8 1/2 x 11 paper that says nothing but “Fifth Amendment”
2) Prop it up in front of you.
3) Say absolutely nothing
4) Answer each question by pointing the paper with your middle finger.
I believe her attorney has demanded to have the committee narrow the scope of questions to be asked and that the interview be done live on TV so that the tapes can not be edited. That’s how I would handle it. No questions about her husband, especially about private conversations between spouses, only questions concerning her advocacy and only those that the committee has email or text to use as the basis for the questions, no questions about phone calls made and if there are records that the committee has I.E. her phone records then the subpoena/s for those records need to be provided to her and her attorney a week or more before the hearing.
Just a few of the conditions that I would demand before agreeing to testify. Otherwise, I would immediately file a suit, (in her jurisdiction, not DC), to fight the subpoena/s.
