The climate alarmists are the worst of the hypocrites. They live in a world of excess, all made possible through the prolific use of energy produced by fossil fuels. Multiple massive mansions, private jets, limousines and large SUV’s, mega-yachts, exclusive resorts, and over the top social events are the norm.
Al Gore and John Kerry are poster children for conspicuous consumption of fossil fuel energy. Yet no one in the political sphere or journalism community calls them out for not walking the talk. Hypocrites don’t rat on fellow hypocrites for fear of attracting attention to themselves.

He stopped using that chart when scientists pointed out that changes in temperature precede changes in CO2.
Then there are Algor’s trips in carbon-belching charter jets, his house’s giant carbon footprint, and his giant ownership share of Occidental Petroleum.

If it were necessary, or even kind (which it is not) to compare the two events, the better application of uvalde, as a metaphor would be;
-The child victims would represent humanity
-The killer would represent the evil global leaders seeking to kill us.
-The police would represent the complicit government and media
-The parents who tried to storm the school are those of us who are awake to the crimes against humanity, yet are held back, arrested, censored and silenced
