Verizon will drop One America News from its channel lineup, leaving the right-wing network without any major television carriers.
After failing to reach a contractual agreement, Verizon announced it would no longer contain the rights to OAN after July.
“Our negotiation with OAN has been a typical, business-as-usual carriage negotiation like those that routinely happen between content distributors and content providers. These negotiations were focused on economics, as they always are, but OAN failed to agree to fair terms,” Verizon said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.
“Our company has long advocated for providing customers with the ability to choose what content they want to watch,” Verizon added. “And our Fios TV platform offers a wide and diverse choice of programming options, including a la carte options, that strive to meet our millions of customers' various content needs and preferences.”
The announcement follows DirecTV’s decision to drop the network in April.
Once OAN is without Verizon, which was primarily responsible for its reported revenue of $550,000 per month from pay-TV carriage fees, the network will be left with Alaska-based General Communications Inc. as its only cable provider in the United States, in addition to lesser-known digital platforms Vifgo and KlowdTV.

Can’t have more than one side to choose from, right?
If cable providers allowed people to chose what they want things would be very different.
Isn’t OAN available on Roku? For a price?
Yes, on its own app for about $6-$7 per month. Probably have to go up in this Brandon economy and after the Verizon cancel.
Great station. Watch only NewsMax now
This has been coming for weeks now, and noted frequently on th news ribbon at the bottom of the screen, asking viwers to contact verizon and ask verison to keep OAN on their schedule.
I don’t know what the money issues were, but I think those were the real issues and they just couldn’t come to terms,
I wish the cable companies actually had a sort of tier pricing, based on the number the average number of sets tuning to any certain channel, with more popular channels paying more because the demand for their portion of the delivered channel spectrum is greater.
Then some lesser popular channels might still be available and would be paying more if their viewership rose.
The Tipping Point hosted by Kara McKinney is my favorite show after Bannon’s Warroom. It is clear to me that the leftwing cabal (led by the Clinton/Obama/Biden axis of evil) is trying to crush alternative views (in this case, true news). OAN is still available on Pluto.tv.
And in other news Verizon was down $3.21 or 6.7% in today’s trading.
In other TV news, “Live PD” is back on, on REELZ TV, under its new name, “On Patrol: Live”. The show premieres tonight at 9 Eastern, and has almost the same hosts. I don’t know which PDs are being followed, but it looks to be pretty much the same show as before.
Put the fork in, they’re done.
i stream it
why fund the cable companies?
This same censorship of free speech cost direct tv my business in april pand now verizons sorry ass service will no longer irk me.
Directv took them off and added two more sports channels I don’t watch.
REELZ TV? Any idea where that is carried. I have Directv.
After 30 years last year I finally cut off cable. I use Pluto for OAN, Blaze Live, Newsmax, America’s Voice and The First, all have pretty good programming.
As soon as I have a chance I’m going from Verizon to Patriot Mobile for my cell.
Newsmax, OAN, I’m not a not a fan.
Real Americas Voice rocks.
Free, on roku.
I just noticed they were gone from U-verse. Shows how much tv I watch.
OAN was an ATT experiment that went sideways on ATT.
ATT is complete she-it. ATT nursed the corrupt CNN for years.
Hopefully OAN will find/secure a decent revenue stream.
Time for a new phone carrier.
