It's fitting the United Nations was the setting for this spectacle. Only in the headquarters of the world's most useless institution could a semi-disowned member of the British Royal Family deliver a tone-deaf address about abortion rights. Is Prince Harry bored? He must be because of everything to make a stink about—he decides to weigh in on the abortion wars. Meghan Markle's fingerprints are all over this fiasco. Also, International Nelson Mandela Day is probably not the best day to discuss abortion. What the hell is this? Are they starving for attention (via Fox News):

Many Americans misunderstand that the British sovereign is not a political figure, but a diplomatic agent and a cultural patron. The Royal Family is supposed to stay out of politics. Parliament is the political force, since the reign of Charles II.

He still is a prince, and retains his titles, as does she. What your article pointed out is that the Queen ordered them not to use their titles to merchandise their appearances. Obviously they are flouting her firm request.
Here is the web site of the Royal Family, and you will see that he is still listed there, 6th in line to the throne. Many Brits want them stripped of their titles.
How in the wide wide world of sports did he get permission to address the UN??? He holds no position and has an education no better than millions of Brits and Americans. He certainly has no training in US constitutional law.
