You are comparing a $40 billion dollar telescope to a private persons iPhone?
Are you daft?
Gee a $400 phone held by a kid doesn’t take as good of photos as a multi-billion dollar telescope in orbit operated by a giant team of experts?!??
I sure hope not.
“Top gun pilots….”
Of course they were.
That is perfect! Some people want to believe so much that they lose their sense of humor.
So succinct and perfectly stated.
Saint George Washington Zelensky would never steal because President Biden has deputized Hunter Biden to keep him honest.
Maybe it’s a distraction. Or it’s just so common that they can’t hide.
I am a military pilot. I’ve see a few objects I didn’t understand, most commonly around very sensitive sites or objects.
Don’t have a clue. My pure speculation:
1. National Intergalactic magazine taking pictures of hairless apes
2. Threat assessment/monitoring
3. Scouting mission
4. Tourists
5. Redneck joyriders
6. Fishermen
7. Poachers
Not too many people carry around a $10 billion camera/telescope, especially in Maine, let alone on Mt. Desert Island.
Pfft. Don't be silly. Squirrels don't drive cars.
Good post. Posts like this give our panel of experts room to strut their stuff.
Maine: Aircrafts appear to chase flying object
The plural of "aircraft" is "aircraft."
iPhone with normal lens, used for taking normal photos; fighter image taken with an infrared camera, used for targeting and killing enemy fighters.
One is for personal fun, the other is for death-bringing.
You need a clear image of you wife, kids, self, etc. You don’t need a clear image of the enemy to kill him.
You take you image using the best light on your iPhone; you sneak up on your enemy and spot him in the infrared, then kill him.
Your image looks good in photo album for others to admire; your enemy does not care that you are not using a high-res image or using the best light because he is dead.
There it is!!
Excellent job.
The so-called 'UFO' pictures from half a century ago often showed better detail than the ones we see today. Back then, hardly anyone carried around a camera at all, and the ones that were carried around weren't much good anyway. Now, when most everyone is carrying around a pretty good camera, why are the pictures of so-called UFOs much worse?
how many is a "maths"?
The Bottom Gun pilots were not available that day.
Woohoo The Far Side!
Bigfoot taught them the secret of always being indistinct and blurry in a world of high-definition cameras.
