Ukraine graft concerns resurface as Russia war goes on
Atlanta Journal and constirution ^ | 7/20/22 | MATTHEW LEE

WASHINGTON (AP) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's dismissal of senior officials is casting an inconvenient light on an issue that the Biden administration has largely ignored since the outbreak of war with Russia: Ukraine's history of rampant corruption and shaky governance.

As it presses ahead with providing tens of billions of dollars in military, economic and direct financial support aid to Ukraine and encourages its allies to do the same, the Biden administration is now once again grappling with longstanding worries about Ukraine's suitability as a recipient of massive infusions of American aid.

Those issues, which date back decades and were not an insignificant part of former President Donald Trump's first impeachment, had been largely pushed to the back burner in the immediate run-up to Russia's invasion and during the first months of the conflict as the U.S. and its partners rallied to Ukraine's defense.

Ukraine is the money laundering bank

The premise of this article is that "no one saw the corruption coming."

How many "conservatives" will try and sell that nonsense to us today?

Nice of the AJC newspaper to point this out after we’ve shoveled something like $56 Billion into the joint. Somebody’s getting rich, and it ain’t us.

“casting an inconvenient light on an issue that the Biden administration has largely ignored “

“largely ignored” or part of it? And, are there biolabs there too?

Wow, who could have guessed that Ukraine is actually a corrupt craphole and not le bastion of freedom and democracy? Everyone agreed it was like the first or second-most corrupt country in Europe before the war began, and now it’s surprising?

Joey and Hunters playground is running as it always has. I would imagine that Z man is also blackmailing all the clowns domestic and foreign who do criminal enterprise there.

Whatta Contrey.

Meanwhile Joey is at home sniffering Z’s old lady.

Saint George Washington Zelensky would never steal because President Biden has deputized Hunter Biden to keep him honest.

Just as the Nazis were immediately ‘rehabilitated’ when the Special Military Operation began, the corruption in the Ukrainian government also ENDED immediately upon the launch of the SMO.

...otherwise, of course, the Western media would be reporting on the corruption (and Nazi control) nonstop.

Graft? We haven’t seen anything yet. Wait until the DC oligarchs start “rebuilding” Ukraine. As sleazy as they might be, the Ukrainian grifters are pikers compared to our own. From Peter Schweitzer:

“Let’s take the Iraq contracts for housing construction,” he explained. “We don’t know how much money was made by James Biden in that case, because he doesn’t have to disclose, but here’s what we know. This ‘Hillstone’ international company was set up, there was a meeting in the White House on November 4th, 2010, the only time the CEO of this company ever visited the White House, went to Joe Biden’s office, literally three weeks later, James Biden was appointed vice president of that company, and then about three to six months later, they get this contract to build 100,000 homes in Iraq. Now, if you look at the bio that they listed for James Biden, it didn’t mention anything about construction experience. It said that he knew his way around the corridors of power, he had political contacts. His brother was vice president of the United States.”

Many of us have wondered where Russia intends to stop geographically in Ukraine. Prior to the invasion they were willing to not invade if Ukraine enacted the agreed to Minsk agreement granting some autonomy to the Donbass and agreed to Ukraine neutrality. Zelensky and NATO repeatedly refused.

Once the military conflict started Putin informed that after liberating Donbass, de-nazifying and de-militarizing Ukraine Russia was willing to negotiate a settlement and Russian troops would leave. Zelensky and NATO refused that, too.

So new areas were put on the front line. And most analysts have speculated that Russia now intended to take their liberation efforts in Russian speaking areas right up to the Dnieper River. Russia has repeatedly warned the U.S. not to escalate the conflict or there would be severe consequences.

Of course, as it our government’s practice they have continued to escalate and now are reversing their previous decision not to send Ukraine long range missiles that could reach Russia. They have sent them...range up to 300km.

So yesterday Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation said this...

Operation Z: Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring
‼️🇬🇧The geographical tasks of the special operation have changed - Sergey Lavrov

As the minister noted, now it is not only the DPR and LPR, but also a number of other territories.

“If the West supplies Kiev with long-range weapons, the geographic objectives of the special operation in Ukraine will move even further,” he added.

Mercouris, on YouTube, put out a video that said there is sober speculation corrupt officials in Ukraine SOLD Russia one of our Himars rocket systems !

He stressed it’s a rumor but it has some indirect evidence to support it. The US made some comments and I think sent some sort of representative right after it officially didn’t happen.

I think this is the one…

If the Ukraine is losing as badly as speculated, and the corruption has now made it’s way to the MSM, would it surprise anyone to see Zelenskyy disappear with hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars real soon?

We're not the only country dumping money into Ukraine...it is obviously a money laundering operation for the global elites - they've all been showing up to lay their claim and zelensky said.. ..."Don't come with empty pockets".....

Furthermore if any plan to hold Zelensky’s feet to the fire to ensure he answers for his political decisions as well as his military ones - then having a few scapegoats he's now fired will do it.
