She probably would. They steal elections.

Bear in mind a few things. Besides the unknown nature of the “registered voters” here, DeSantis has only really been getting famous the last year. Camel-a has several years on him for “national coverage”. Also, many of them indicate undecided. So it could go better than it seems.
Either way, it is a statistical tie, which has time to work out.

Kamala Harris would lose to anybody. She hasn’t been subjected to ads about the dump that is her hometown, San Francisco, where she was DA. In fact, one of the many stupid aspects of Trumps re-election campaign is that they didn’t focus attention on Harris and hang feces-filled San Francisco around her neck. Desantis is smarter than Trump, and I am confident his campaign wouldn’t make that mistake
I believe Trump let his son in law run his re-election campaign. Are you surprised Biden was able to win?

“....but I think it’s going to be Gov Hair do and Big Mike as vp.”
New-scum I can agree with.
Big Mike as VP? No Way!
Even though a VP has little to do Mike wouldn’t want the job. When has he/she/it ever had a job he/she/it had to show up for? And Mike was First Thing, the slide down to VP would be unacceptable.
Finally, New-scum knows Big Mike would steal his thunder. Or at least fart louder.
Remember how the McCain people throttled Sarah Palin when they saw how popular she was? New-scum would have the same problem with Mike, everyone would be talking about the VP candidate and not the Presidential candidate. A complete non starter.

"A poll from the Harvard University Center for American Political Studies (CAPS). And I stopped reading right there. I give university/college polls worthless.
Why do folks here post these obviously bias polls, especially from Harvard?

My initial reaction was to call BS. Then I thought a little more about it. It is possible, but highly unlikely, It is a
Newsweak article, after all! IMO. 'Cackles', aka Kommie-la (as opposed to 'CaNkles'), can capture much of the 'virtue signaling' crowd's vote. On the 'virtue signaling' checklist, she ticks a lot of boxes.
- A female - check
- A 'person of colour' - check
- A 'disabled' person (not neccessarily PHYSICALLY disabled) - check
- A child of a single mother - check
- A'down to earth' person (usually down to earth with her heels up in the air, that is) - check
Among the 'virtue signaling' crowd, she's a 'winner'. Amongst those who use their heads for something other than a hat stand, not so much!

Poor name recognition combined with an option for polltakers to not make up their mind. DeSantis probably gets closer to 61% to Harris’ 39%... but voters hate saying they’d vote for someone they haven’t heard of.

A poll showing someone “beating” someone when the victor is polling in the 30s is hardly evidence of anything.
Far more people also know who Harris is vs. DeSantis.
