European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Europe’s energy chief, Kadri Simson, were in Azerbaijan on Monday to finalize the deal. In a statement, the commission said Azerbaijan had committed to delivering at least 20 billion cubic meters to the EU annually by 2027.
Azerbaijan was already on track to increase it deliveries to the region. According to the commission, gas supply from the country will increase from 8.1 billion cubic meters in 2021 to an expected 12 billion cubic meters this year.

Russia is bad and Communist but it is best not to under estimate them...
“Little Pukin is a strooooong, powwwerful leader and good Christian man too. People on FR tell me so.”
Who uses Muslims Chechnyans etc to kill the Christian Ukrainians. Buryat Mongolians too and other non-Russian minorities he can pay off with big signing bonuses to join his cannon fodder army..
dudes off his meds
As a calculating chess player that has been one-upping the US, NATO and EU thus far in Ukraine, I would wager that Putin will not interfere for various reasons. Putin knows he has the US, NATO, and EU economically bent over already.
A bunch of CRY BABIES. They have other ways to generate energy, and anyone who’s been there can see the ugly evidence everywhere they look.
If Green is so great for Europe, then walk the walk and STOP BURNING GAS.
That simple.
Biden cheated like hell on his wife, Trump dumped his wife, Clinton cheated like hell on his uh...wife, Reagan had two wives. Kennedy cheated on Jackie with many gals. Lyndon Johnson was a prolific cheater. Jimmah lusted in his heart. Daddy Bush was always cheatin’ on Gramma Babs and groping young things. Happens to the best and worst of them.
“Happens to the best and worst of them”
As if its like catching a cold; beyond ones control.
“Happens to the best and worst of them.”
It’s more of a sickness when it becomes a person, rather than a country. Particularly when 75% or more of the country supports that person.
Why? The Europeans have windmills. What more could they want?
One thing we can be assured of is that 75% of Americans do not support Biden.
These guys are going to see their homo actor hero Z get taken down by his own people one of these days for sacrificing them at the altar of the WEF and Joe Biden.
This is ultimately why Turkey was invited into NATO. It’s also why European leaders throw hate at Israel. Europe has to either placate the Muslims or the Russians or both if they want to keep up their GretaGore cult.
NO! He is not okay. He is delusional. He must get back on his meds!
“10 BCF last year.
14 BCF this year.
20 BCF by 2027.”
Units: BCF should be BCM.
By comparison, how much does RuZZia send to China?
From Bloomberg:
“Since Russia’s pipeline gas supplies to China started in late 2019, shipments have been increasing steadily, due to reach at least 15 billion cubic meters in 2022, compared with 10.4 billion cubic meters delivered last year. “
So Azerbaijan is sending nearly s much nat gas to EU as RuZZia sends to China.
10 BCM in 2021
15 BCM in 2022.
Like Ronald Reagan
That’s NOT fair. I took all my medication this morning!
They are already at 14 this year.
20 in 5 years seems easy.
gas supply from the country will increase from 8.1 billion cubic meters in 2021 to an expected 12 billion cubic meters this year.
Now, let's compare that measly amount to what Russia has been supplying to Europe each year:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-07-01/us-lng-supplies-to-europe-overtake-russian-gas-iea-says
Russia ships about 150 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe via pipelines every year, and another 14 billion to 18 billion cubic meters of LNG.
The idiocy never ceases from you, does it?
Europe needs Russian a lot more than Russia needs Europe's business. Oil sells itself. There will never be a shortage of buers.
But, you're too stupid to realize that the west, like Ukraine in the actual war, getting its ass kicked in the sanction.
Millions are sick of your kind of Russophobia negatively impacting their quality of life.
