The poll found Hageman leads Cheney 52 percent to 30 percent. Eleven percent are undecided.
Among those polled, only 27% approved of Cheney’s job performance. Two-thirds disapproved, with 7% saying they were not sure. Men were especially critical of Cheney’s performance: Only one in five approved of the job she’s doing.
Those results track with interviews conducted by the Star-Tribune this summer. The congresswoman’s critics say she’s too distracted by her service on the House Jan. 6 committee and her battles with Trump to properly serve the state, and the poll found 54% of voters were less likely to support her because she’s part of the panel investigating the attack on the Capitol.
Throughout the campaign, Cheney has solicited Democrats for votes and has raised money from Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton donors.
It appears Cheney is more popular with Democrats than Republicans. The poll showed Cheney’s approval rating among Wyoming Democrats is above 50 percent, though there are not enough Democrat voters willing to help Cheney in the Republican primary.
“Cheney has a 53% job approval rating with Democrats who planned to vote in the Republican primary,” the poll reads. “But because of the relatively small number of Democrats in Wyoming, crossover voting is unlikely to make a difference.”
“While 69% of registered Democrats who plan to participate in the GOP primary are supporting Cheney, that level of support still leaves her trailing Hageman by a wide margin,” the poll estimated.

If all goes as expected, Liz will lose the election, but become the designated Republican/conservative balance on MSNBC or CNN talking head programs.
Have to be at least that because dems can cheat away at least 25 points. They will claim they got more votes than there are people on earth.
That’s racist!
Shirley, Dominion will have something to say about this
Get woke, go broke! I wonder how ol’ Liz will replace that $175k congressional salary come January. Perhaps she can be AOC’s personal assistant.
Liz will go full steam with her own PAC, raising money for NeverTrumpers.
She’ll run as an independent to attempt to swing it so the Democrat wins. Mark my words.
“Republican/conservative balance on MSNBC or CNN talking head programs.”
Meaning she will fade into obscurity.
If the Lizard loses the GOP will take good care of her.
She’s still very influential in RINO circles.
So, the Lizard’s war chest will basically be a Democrat payoff to her for mouthing off about Trump and Assisting Democrats.
I hope I’m wrong but I surmise that the DC machine will see to it that she remains in office. I didn’t say “reelected” because this country election system cannot be trusted any longer so she couldn’t possibly win a legitimate election.
Or she’ll run as a Democrat in a future race.
“If all goes as expected, Liz will lose the election, “
If all goes as expected in our house, Liz will “win” the election — the way PINO Joe “won” his.
Nope..if she is not the winner she cannot enter again
“She’ll run as an independent to attempt to swing it so the Democrat wins. Mark my words.”
Wyoming election law provides, “An unsuccessful candidate for office at a primary election, whose name is printed on any party ballot, may not seek nomination by petition for the same office at the next general election.” Such “sore-loser” laws exist in a handful of states, and to date, they have survived constitutional challenges.
“Mark these words.”
“She can’t run as an Independent.”
I sure hope this pans out. I thought Romney was dead in the water after his behavior, too.
I look forward to her concession speech.
So, NOT Larry hageman? 🤔😂
Just not enough Dems in Wyoming to make a difference.
Liz is just going to grow fatter and sadder shilling for Dems on MSNBC/CNN.
