The Ruble at historic highs, the Euro just hit historic lows, the Ukie hryvnia cratered. Vlad raking in billions of dollars a month, the West printing off more debt…….not only is Vlad gaining territory every day, he is getting rich doing it.

There are tactics and there is strategy. I would submit that Putin is a master at strategy. He pretty much has Europe by the balls because he let them indulge in their climate change fantasies knowning that it was all bullshit while getting them hooked on cheap and plentiful hydrocarbon energy.

And, his strategy was correct.

Rubles that cannot be spent to stem the tide of a collapsing banking system.

Your beloved Motherland is in technical default and cannot pay its creditors, as a consequence companies that borrowed money from the system cannot pay their creditors and must cut production of lay off millions.

Piles of rubles and nowhere to spend them.

The territory your Hero of the Russian Federation is gaining are small towns and villages and only in one region - even then they cannot progress much more as they would be entering the huge urban sprawl west of their lines, which would invite huge casualties on the attacker - casualties your Orc masters cannot afford.

Here’s your does of revenue reality:

••Oil and Gas Revenue of The Russian Budget:
In April it was 1.9T rubles
In May was 170B rubles
In June it was 720B rubles

Prior to the war, it was 1T rubles per month. Seems to indicate the oil and gas industry is in contraction also. May be related to NG whose largest outlet was Europe and cannot easily be shifted, to say China, because there are limited pipelines.

Putin is a master at strategy

So Putin was trying to stop Ukraine a country along Russia's border from joining to NATO, so instead Finland and Sweden will join the alliance.

We are demilitarizing RuZZia on the cheap!

Okay. So, we're throwing everything we have at the Ruskies, and they just keep on coming like the Eveready Bunny. They now occupy well over 20% of the country, now. I'm not sure any sane person calls that "demilitarizing." In the meantime, that $75 billion could have been put to much better us -- like finishing the wall that Trump started to stop the invasion from the south InTexas.

That comment is pathetically false. You can hate Russia, but they are nothing like North Korea.

LNG is how Russia can send/sell more gas to China. China has 20 or so LNG terminals. Russia has two major LNG export terminals. One is at Sakhalin Island.
.
.
.
.The country witnessed an increase in its LNG exports in the past few years, with a growth of about 266% from 6.8 billion cubic meters in 2009 to 24.9 billion cubic meters in 2018. The country currently has two LNG plants, Gazprom-led Sakhalin-2 on the Far East and Novatek’s Yamal LNG, on the Arctic Yamal peninsula.

You are right, they have much more land than North Korea, and they are not Asian. But in just about every other way they are similar.

The Russian military has been exposed for the overstretched, ill-equipped, and incompetent Soviet throwback it is.

Which is exactly why the US and NATO shouldn't be involved. The Ruskies couldn't even take Kiev - but we've had to listen to 'panic princesses' screaming since February that Pooty's evil legions will be in Warsaw (or Paris) in a week, if the US & NATO don't send tens of billions of dollars in cash & military assistance ASAP. What a complete waste of time, money & effort...

“What a complete waste of time, money”

One of our 2 main enemies is being demilitarized. RuZZia lost 1/3 of its tanks in 5 months. For a relatively small amount of US taxpayer money.

The USA is the big winner.

Russia was one of our "2 main enemies" only in Pooty's dreams. As you noted above, "[t]he Russian military has been exposed for the overstretched, ill-equipped, and incompetent Soviet throwback it is" - meaning the Ruskies weren't a conventional threat to NATO, and would be even less likely to start throwing nukes at the alliance, since that would mean instant 'game over'. In other words, the US is pissing away $50 billion plus, for absolutely nothing. (Oh, wait, the Bidens are probably getting filthy rich off the kickbacks - anyone involved probably thinks that's a plus! ;>)

RuZZia lost 1/3 of their tanks in 5 months.

So what? The Ukes lost 90% of their own equipment! How do we know that? 'Cause clown Zelensky is demanding more western equipment from Xiden and the American taxpayers every day -- to replace the equipment he is losing to the Russkies. AND, by the way, they also lost 30% of their country in the process.

That's what winning looks like!

Someone has been working overtime in the Keywords.

Somebody really loves Putin or Russia. This is not our war. Putin is not our national hero.

Who says Putin is a great political strategist? He was competent enough to stay in power for decades. Russians stuck with Communism for 75 years. They are that kind of people. When somebody appears to have things under control, they stick with him for fear of chaos and desolation.

In any case, twentieth century history demonstrates that being a great political strategist is not the same as being a great military strategist. Examples aren't that hard to find.
