Throughout his 20-plus year rule, Vladimir Putin has consolidated power through graft, intimidation, manipulation of the Russian legal system, and forcefully silencing critics.
Putin’s ability to sustain subservience and loyalty to his authority is no small feat, especially in a political culture of ruthless power politics.
His reputation as a master tactician abroad has also been carefully cultivated, if not exaggerated.

Fact is Putin has checkmated every single one of senile Joes sanctions, the EU manufacturing and economy is grinding to a halt- negative growth. Record high inflation and shortages. This winter will be very interesting. Russia keeps getting richer, the west poorer and poorer.
That said, Vlad just took Siversk, and the Ukies keep losing more territory every day…

Get this. The "overstrechers" have done all of this while fighting the best the west can throw at them in this proxy war -- over seventy-five billion of our tax money, eight years of the best training that NATO and the US can offer, and all the gee-whiz military equipment we can gift to the Ukes (while they sell it to the Russkies).
Can you say Iraq or Afghanistan?
Let's sure hope the "overstrechers" don't get their act together. If so, it will be curtains for the Ukes. Actually, it's going to be curtains anyway.
