At least 20 people - including three children - are dead and 90 wounded after Russian rockets hit another Ukrainian city in Putin's latest atrocity against civilians.
Three missiles slammed into a nine-storey office block in the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsya - 450 miles from the Donbas frontline - around 10.50am, partially destroying the building, damaging nearby residential structures, and demolishing a medical centre, emergency services said. Four more missiles were shot down in the area.
'Unfortunately, there is probably no chance of finding anyone who survived (under the rubble),' stated a senior regional emergency service official.
President Zelensky branded Russia 'a terrorist country' as he condemned the attack, which comes off the back of at least six similar strikes in a little over two weeks targeting purely civilian areas across the country.
'Every day, Russia destroys the civilian population, kills Ukrainian children, directs rockets at civilian objects where there is nothing military.
'What is this, if not an open act of terrorism? Inhumans. A killer country. A terrorist country.'
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba accused Russia of committing 'another war crime'.
Ukraine says Putin's men are taking an 'operation pause' before pushing on with their offensive, but that has not stopped them raining down death from a distance.

A neat trick is to fire some rockets from a transport adjacent to the building and then drive off. Counter battery fire will give you the pictures you want. (hat trick to the PLO)
The other method is to affix the repeater for your command networks to the building and have a high volume of traffic routing through it. Sooner or later the enemy will think that is the location of the HQ and hit it.
Not supporting the Russian, but the number of strict civilians killed in this conflict is amazingly low. They are doing a very good job of keeping their munitions under control. (incoming expected since some Freeper will call me a Putin lover.)

Also, after the number of times I've seen videos and photos of military personnel and/or equipment located in civilian structures, forgive me if I don't believe Zelensky's claim that there was no military just on his say-so. A recent video example of this phenomenon in action (pardon the Twitter user's vulgarity).

Yeah, all of the recent videos of civilian casualties coming out of Donetsk would disagree with you there. (Two examples in this thread here.)
Plus the last 8 years or so of hostilities between Ukraine and the DPR/LPR separatists where civilians got caught in the crossfire.
I don't mind people pointing out examples of Russians attacking pure civilian targets (which turn out to be such, and not just another example where Ukrainian military personnel were holing up in civilian areas again) if they're also willing to point out where Ukraine is also doing the same.
Neither side is sinless or holy, which is why we should stay out of it.
