DW News published this video item, entitled “Ukraine war: Is Russian defeat nothing but a ‘fantasy’? | DW News” – below is their description.

Is the Ukrainian military now ready to strike back against the Russians? Five months into this war and the momentum appears to be with Russian forces. Less than two weeks ago they captured half of Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region – and attacks on the other half have increased ever since.

Ukraine has vowed not to cede another inch of territory to Russia. At the same time Ukraine appears to be preparing to launch an offensive in the South. Holding the line in the East and pushing back the Russians down south. Is Ukraine now equipped with Western weapons to follow through. According to Kyiv, we will soon find out.

Ukraine didn’t spend money on its defense and is asking the US to fund all of its shortfall over decades.

I say, “No!”

On the one hand the polonium murder guy and KGB guy. On the other the WEF and globalists including the worst of US political corruption.

No thread on the topic produces clarity, only rancor.

IMHO: The real reason the BILLIONS of US dollars are continually being sent to Ukraine is to create a conduit for the DC criminal cabal to more easily loot the US treasury. Refer to the Jobama crime syndicate! THAT’S WHAT THEY DO, folks.

Yes, Russian defeat IS nothing but a ‘fantasy’. These idiots thought sanctions and robbing them of $300 billion in foreign reserves would be enough to bring them down. Whelp it didn’t go according to plan, these measure wound up destroying the West instead.

When will people wake up to the fact that these insane neocons are clueless idiots? How many TRILLIONS have we frittered away over the years in places like Iraq and Afghanistan achieving nothing? I swear I can’t believe how stupid people are going along with these endless and fruitless wars that accomplish nothing other than to enrich the military industrial complex.

At the end of the day yes.

Even if by some strange chance they win they will win an utterly destroyed country.

If I was a Russian general I’d be only too happy at this point to let the Ukrainians mount a counter-offensive. In principle the West can supply advanced weapon systems that would gradually grind down the Russian military despite its advantage in numbers. But what the West is very unlikely to provide are additional ground forces to replace Ukrainian losses.

So let the limited pool of Ukrainian fodder advance against dug-in Russian positions, but without the overwhelming artillery advantage the Russians enjoyed (rather the opposite). Then after the Ukrainians have repeated the Battle of the Somme the Russians will be in position to renew their offensive against weakened and demoralized Western proxies.

No one wins save for a few Oligarchs who will become even richer—and Red China. All in all—The only loser is the USA and all of our Billions (we will be expected to rebuild the place too). Maybe Disney can build a new theme park in Odessa? Trump a new hotel in Kiev, End the war! Give Peace a chance.

“the West is very unlikely to provide are additional ground forces to replace Ukrainian losses”

I suspect once the supply of cannon fodder starts running low it will just morph into an ongoing insurgency like Afghanistan using the reported 10k Ukrainian troops currently being trained in the UK for that purpose. I think that was the plan all along, they knew Ukraine would never prevail over Russia even when supplied with western arms.

On June 18th I posted the following posts.

https://t.me/s/russica2/46664

NEZYGAR

The level of real irretrievable losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has crossed all critical levels so much that the office of President Zelensky is forced to spend about €3.5 million daily to disavow these shocks among the population and the European audience.

€2 million goes to Euronews and smaller European media from Germany, France, Italy and Poland, €1 million goes to LOM and TG channels from the Baltics, the near-political establishment of Ukraine and the CIS countries, the rest is distributed to premiums and bonuses for functionaries of the 95th quarter.

According to MI6 data, which were handed over to the European Commissioners and European deputies, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amount to 176,000 killed and 41,000 seriously wounded on June 1, 22, without the possibility of returning to the theater, about 38,000 are considered missing.

According to the BND and the Polish intelligence services, which were shown at a closed briefing before the NATO summit, Ukraine’s losses in killed on the battlefield, plus the accompanying losses of civilians, exceeded 210 thousand people by 06/10/22.

According to NATO experts, as well as on the analysis of the NSA, which monitor social networks and special groups of mothers-wives-native Ukrainian soldiers, the losses range from 110 thousand to 197 thousand people, where the proportion of dead and missing is 45% to 55%.

The loss of military equipment and ammunition, as well as new types of weapons and unmanned aircraft, is 73%, and the shortage of fuel and lubricants has grown to 58% among BTGs on the front line of the line of contact.

According to Nezygar about the losses of Ukraine, everything is 100% correct, even the dates, and the most interesting thing is that Ursula von der Leyen knew about this when she came to Kiev. Zelensky told her that he would consider the figure of 400-450 thousand people to be critical, and this will happen at the current level of losses no earlier than March 2023.

The BND and the NATO Ground Forces Command believe that by August 1, the level of losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be more than 268,000, and the front line will pass through the Nikolaev and Kharkov regions, and this is without taking into account a possible strike by Belarusian forces from the north. If Lukashenka’s army is connected, the supply of theater of operations on the right side of the Dnieper will drop by 90-95%, moreover, the delivery of fuel and lubricants will become impossible for the civilian population and the harvesting campaign.

Naturally there was no interest at all in this on FR. While I was shocked at these numbers I made clear that I had been following this Telegram site and they had always been accurate. And of course the follow up Telegram post from another site confirmed and added info to it.

Furthermore since the EU and NATO were about to have their meetings they would naturally get data prior to them and I knew Ursula Von der Crazy had just returned from her visit to Zelensky so the info on their conversation seemed plausible too.

Anyhow, here are two posts from entirely different posters today that pretty much confirm what I had previously posted though their info comes direct from the General Staff of Ukraine.

ZELENSKY IS SUBHUMAN!
Slavyangrad

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦 - Zelensky was allegedly told in an analytical note that he lost 176,000 soldiers from Feb. 24 to July 11, 2022, submitted by the General Staff of Ukraine.

Eurasia & Multipolarity
From Vladimir Novikov - Leader of the Zaporozhye militia, commander of the special forces ‘Troy’ detachment;
So, according to the information received, the number of irretrievable loss of servicemen of the AFU, Border Troops, Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Guard Forces for the period from 24.02 till 11.07.2022 appears 176 000 in the calculations of the General Staff of Ukraine presented in the analytical note to President Zelensky.
It includes those killed, wounded without the possibility of further service and those missing without trace.

The report does not include losses of the territorial defence forces (why count them...).

I wonder if the Western elites believe their own propaganda, if they are indeed preparing an insurgency. That would be based on the notion that Russia wants to control or annex all of the Ukraine. In such a case an insurgency would be a thorn in Russia's side. It would also kill a lot of people and fail to achieve any major policy goal, but that's par for course for the neo-cons.

But Russia never committed to the kind of invasion required to totally conquer Ukraine, and there's no evidence of a puppet regime that was prepared to take office in Kyiv if it fell. My expectation when negotiations become a reality will be that Russia will press for the following:

1. Recognition of the Crimean annexation.
2. Recognition of the eastern, Russian-majority provinces either being annexed or established as Russian satellite states.
3. Guarantees that Ukraine will not align with NATO, will not host Western troops/bases/anything.
4. Perhaps something like a demilitarized zone or Russian supervision of the Black sea coast.

Note that if these are the real goals as I suspect (fundamentally to prevent Ukraine from being used as a staging point for Western arms or missiles in the future), an insurgency isn't going to be very relevant. They aren't going to succeed with an insurgency in pro-Russian provinces, and if Russia effectively pulls back (after using them as negotiating chips) from other areas, the insurgency efforts will have been pointless.
