Cannot think of any reason to leave a ballot undated unless the voter does not fathom the concept of time or is leaving the date off intentionally to hide that it is late.

The TRUTH is that those undated ballots still had a post mark with a date on them. The courts found that the post mark date was sufficient to consider the ballots valid.
I disagree with the court ruling because the law says they must be dated by the voter.
