Gas prices went up too quickly. The Left messed up. They needed to play the long game on EVa and gas prices. They will probably get their way eventually even though they were a bit rash with their actions this time around.
Yes, they have. They have used technology very effectively so far. But I don’t think we have seen anything yet. The Chinese are getting a glimpse.
Concur, but I think we already passed that point. I believe that point was the election. That was their big move, their weakest point. They have done nothing but reinforce themselves ever since.
When we say “that’s it” we will find that all of our ammo was sent to Ukraine. All of our energy was sent to China. All of our food has been destroyed, our supplies are non existent, and our money is worthless.
I suspect our numbers will be shaky at that point. That’s when the armies come in.
Tex, you’re doing it wrong, you’re not supposed to sit on the urinal!
I’d just take a note on the back of my hand to remember the kid and put the FLIR on top of the AR!
It is! It affords people much greater freedom. Everybody, not just the king and his staff. we can move around at leisure, we can eat Kobe beef, we can do all the stuff they can. If we work real hard or come up with a great idea, we can even have a driver and a Rolls-Royce!
The commies hate that.
Boomity.
“Your heat is sapping your battery. Few things drain a battery faster than a heating element.”
Tesla uses a heat pump.
“EV is a very poor choice for most people compared to the alternatives.”
Commuter averaging about 12k miles a year:
Tundra: Gas - $4,000 per year
EV: Electricity - $400 per year
EV Savings: $3600 per year
Tundra at gas station: 12 hours
EV at remote charging station: Zero hours
EV savings: 12 hours per year
Commuter averaging about 12k miles a year:
Tundra: Gas - $4,000 per year
EV: Electricity - $400 per year
You’re FOS.
(Before Rebates)
“I can jump in my 2003 V8 Tundra and drive 500 miles nonstop. In 5 minutes or so, I am ready to drive another 500.”
18 hours! ROTFLMAO!
When you don’t have facts on your side attack the person.
I repeat: I don’t see anyone selling or buying somehow did you get that figure?
Then tax you per mile you drive to replace gas fuel taxes from Feds and States currently collect.
EV electricity is subsedized now.
If I have an ev car it would be an extra 200 to 300 per month in electricity.
“EV electricity is subsedized now.”
Nope.
“If I have an ev car it would be an extra 200 to 300 per month in electricity.”
At 12 cents per kwhr that is 2500 kwhrs.
At 35 kwhr / 100 miles that is 7000 miles a month.
$1500 per month.
EV savings = $1200 per month or $14,000 per year.
A gas car getting 20 mpg would cost you
The average electric car kWh per 100 miles (kWh/100 mi) is 34.6. This works out as 0.346kWh per mile. In other words, on average, electric cars consume 34.6kWh to travel 100 miles and 0.346kWh to travel 1 mile.

“Its not something that can be bought”
That is what I said, twice!
