It appears Eastern and Southern Ukraine believe it’s perfectly Justified.

Russian occupiers in Kherson(Southern), Ukraine were 'greated' by pro-Ukraine demonstrators. Russians used tear-gas, beatings and arrests to break up protests.

This is like everything else where you have government and business agree on something - you get a hyped up one sided potrayal and selling of an issue, and one day people wake up to be suprised that everything is entirely different.

The Russian Ukrainian War will probably end in a negotiated settlement. The Ukrainians have to strengthen their hand by taking back some of their lost territory. Germany in particular is vulnerable to loss of energy supplies from Russia. The EU will pressure Ukraine to negotiate a settlement before winter arrives. For all his rhetoric, Zelensky knows this and will probably succumb to the pressure. On their part, Russia didn't expect the vigor with which the Ukrainians are fighting. Their losses have been huge. But the Russians seem to have circumvented Western sanctions. If Xi decides enough is enough, he will force Putin to the negotiation table. This war is not good for business. Like Coolidge's America, the business of China is business.

Did not answer the question.

So pls explain your great love for Putin and his Holodomor II.

What drives your thinking?

How do you reconcile the death and destruction of Ukraine?

Putin is driving Mother Russia further into the ground and as they collapse China will take what it likes.

Russia had (now gone) an economy smaller than Italy with about three times the population. GDP per capita was $11,000 like Mexico.

As Putin murders Ukrainians he is also sending his fellow Russians to Bleak House.
What a great leader.

“Is that why Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk seceded from Ukraine?”

America had a small dust up over the question of secession a while back. Do you remember how that ended?

You're being dense. Its like blaming the Poles for fighting back in WW2 against the German invasion.

LOL, you are full of sh_t.

Hilarious! A Biden supporting ignorant fool accuses someone who actually has friends and has visited Ukraine on a regular basis of being "full of sh_it". You can't make this stuff up.

I have a quote for you, "If the Biden administration and the Democrats are for something... anything, you better look a little closer before jumping on the band wagon." Fireman15

The fake “separatist” movement was started by Russian money, Russian agents, Russian Mafia style tactics that included threats and bribes, the murder of Ukrainians, and finally, Russian troops. The people I know in the Donbas do indeed hate Russia and the invaders. The forced conscription of “volunteers” has greatly enlarged cemeteries in cities like
Alchevsk. The local engineers, city municipal workers, bureaucrats, and hospital administrators, are forced to join the party United Russia. Russia United does not sound very “separatist” does it? It sounds more like a Russian land grab and a natural resource grab.

He says he supports Ukraine, but can't make the simple statement that Putin's invasion is wrong.

I have a quote for you, "If the Biden administration and the Democrats are for something.

Republican party is also for supporting Ukraine, and most western countries are also sending weapons.

Putin's invasion of Ukraine is wrong. See? Its easy to say if you're honestly supporting Ukraine.

What Russia is doing on its border today is no different than what the United States has done throughout our own hemisphere since 1823 - preventing hostile foreign alliances within our defensive sphere. By enforcing the Monroe Doctrine, we have invaded many of the countries in our hemisphere at least once in the last 199 years.

Russian troops would not be in Ukraine today if the United States had not engineered the 2014 coup against Ukraine's democratically elected government in 2014 and spent the next 8 years building an anti-Russian government with a NATO-trained military. NATO's intentions in Ukraine were made clear at the close of its Bucharest Summit on April 3, 2008 when NATO declared its intention to expand its anti-Russian treaty alliance into Georgia and Ukraine. Russia will not permit an existential threat on its border, and is fighting now to avoid a much larger and more desperate war later.

Moscow is not acting alone in this action, as a third of the troops fighting alongside Russian forces are Ukrainian citizens of the Donestk and Lugansk oblasts who want to be free from the Kiev government that has opressed them and even banned them from speaking their native Russian language.
