Ukraine plans a "million-strong army" equipped with Nato weapons to retake the south of the country from occupying Russians, the defence minister says.
Retaking the areas around the Black Sea coast was vital to the country's economy, Oleksii Reznikov said.
However, the comments are more of a rallying cry than a concrete plan, says the BBC's Joe Inwood in Kyiv.

It’s not unreasonable when mounting a military campaign to announce your objective. Germany knew damned well the US & UK were attacking the coast of France; it only miscalculated where the attack would come from.
I’m pro ukrainian, I have friends in Ukraine and went there every year until covid.
What I saw and learned is why being pro-ukrainian to me means being against the Ukrainian government, and not supporting Blinken’s “forever war” where 1000 Ukrainians a day kill or are wounded every day.
A proxy war that makes huge money for defense industry and politician kickbacks, fighting down to the last Ukrainian.
Conscripts sit in Trenches, while nationalist battalions full of extremists sit behind them to ensure no possible escape.
