Since when do conservatives tax the hell out of people ???
The “Liberal Democrats” in Japan are STILL probably much more conservative than what passes for so-called “conservatives” in European countries like the UK and France. I don’t think Shinzo Abe ever heaped praise on homo marriages, called for socialized healthcare, celebrated Islamic holidays, endorsed 0bama’s presidential campaign, complained U.S. Democrats aren’t liberal ENOUGH on global warning, demanded the U.S. reinstate Roe v. Wade, etc., etc.
They are an entrenched party of power. Better than the left though.
