I believe the United States itself made Japan put that in its post WWII-constitution, as a safeguard against another imperialistic military "Empire of Japan" rising to power.
Yes, that is true. But now Japan must take on a full role of a completely armed ally.We need their help in this way and no longer can go it alone when we have to wade our way through unAmerican presidents like Biden. Japan has to keep the faith on the front against China while we rid ourselves of those who weaken our military.
