I don’t trust McCarthy and McConnell to have the guts to challenge the election results.

So true. Expect Pence to throw his hat in the ring , especially if it not Trump but Desantis.

Then these two will come to his defense for not having pushed a real investigation of the election results.......

Zelensky is a cousin of George Soros!

Umm... Not proven. They're both Jews---Tribe of Judah, so does that really make them cousins?

From the We Love Trump web site:

FACT CHECK: Is Zelensky a Cousin of George Soros?

They DO look alike...

The attack on Feb 24th, and the subsequent war, was blatant Russian aggression that violated the UN's charter.

If you view the invasion in isolation, that is true. But you can't ignore the events leading up to the second invasion, which set the predicate. NATO expansion, which started the ball rolling after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The EU/US engineered coup in 2014 of the duly elected government of Ukraine that set in motion the Donbas separatist movement and annexation of Crimea. The failure of Ukraine to implement the 2015 Minsk Agreement. NATO training Ukrainian forces over a 10 year period.

If you have the time, it is well-worth watching The causes and consequences of the Ukraine war A lecture by John J. Mearsheimer

Events don't happen in a vacuum. WWII is a prime example.

Caught Bill with his pants down and hand in cookie jar BUT he did not apologize, he did not admit anything or confess. They held tight and yelled F’em at the top of their lungs.

That has been the Dem model ever since. Has protected them through many scrapes. The Haiti gold theft, Clintons all over Lolita Island, the Clinton Foundatiopn and ALL the money it has attracted from everywhere. Obama and Biden learned at their knee (Or between them).

I don’t know.

Why did Joe Stalin or Hitler or Mao or any other tyrant think the way they did? Ordered the atrocities and crimes their henchmen did? Power—it’s always about it. They either want it, or fear it will be taken from them.

Or Hillary or Obama...Wannabe dictators... Same thing. Evil begets evil.

One step that will help is the recent S.C. ruling on what power the Fed. Agencies do or do not have - Congress should pass laws, not do stupid things like the Base closing commissions.

One example would be to move many Fed. agencies out of D.C.

Virginia is a good example

If you view the invasion in isolation

Yes, I do.

And you should, too.

There was still plenty of room for negotiation before the first tank rolled in.

I don't think it was wrong for us to attack Afghanistan in October of 2001, because they, through their protection of Al Qeada, who attacked us, was an act of war against us.

After they were defeated, we should have LEFT.

The attack on Iraq was wrong. But even so, we took it as far as the UN--famous Colin Powell presentation of weapons of mass destruction. Even so, it was the wrong thing for us to do as it destabilized the entre Middle East. Saddam was keeping the lid on the crazy mullahs and mohamadites.

The "Break it you own it" analogy leading to nation building there was the stupidest thing we did in American diplomacy, ever.

I think the Russians could learn some things from our own blunders.

Masters of War

Song by Bob Dylan

Come you masters of war

You that build the big guns

You that build the death planes

You that build all the bombs

You that hide behind walls

You that hide behind desks

I just want you to know

I can see through your masks

You that never done nothin'

But build to destroy

You play with my world

Like it's your little toy

You put a gun in my hand

And you hide from my eyes

And you turn and run farther

When the fast bullets fly

Like Judas of old

You lie and deceive

A world war can be won

You want me to believe

But I see through your eyes

And I see through your brain

Like I see through the water

That runs down my drain

You fasten all the triggers

For the others to fire

Then you sit back and watch

When the death count gets higher

You hide in your mansion

While the young people's blood

Flows out of their bodies

And is buried in the mud

You've thrown the worst fear

That can ever be hurled

Fear to bring children

Into the world

For threatening my baby

Unborn and unnamed

You ain't worth the blood

That runs in your veins

How much do I know

To talk out of turn

You might say that I'm young

You might say I'm unlearned

But there's one thing I know

Though I'm younger than you

That even Jesus would never

Forgive what you do

Let me ask you one question

Is your money that good?

Will it buy you forgiveness

Do you think that it could?

I think you will find

When your death takes its toll

All the money you made

Will never buy back your soul

And I hope that you die

And your death will come soon

I'll follow your casket

By the pale afternoon

And I'll watch while you're lowered

Down to your deathbed

And I'll stand over your grave

'Til I'm sure that you're dead

I agree. We have really gone off the deep end when it comes to the Left and Deep State. We are and should be opposed ot them.

The only difference that I do not understand is why you hold the Russians up as some paragon of virtue?

Putin is in fact a dictator, who rules over the Russians in an oppressive way.

He’s just as evil a tyrant as any the Russians have had.

The same Freedom we deserve from the Deep State is the same freedom the Russians deserve. Not Biden. Not Putin.

They’re not one OR the other—they’re the same.

Like I said, holding a mirror up to another mirror.

As far as your chart goes—now do Cuba or Venezuela or Iran...

Yes, and we failed to seek a diplomatic solution. We signed a security agreement with Ukraine in Nov 2021 that essentially poked Putin in the eye. This was done as Putin was massing troops on the border.

Uh huh.

Exactly.

Putin desired Ukraine's territory.

Nonsense. I have never portrayed Putin as a paragon of virtue. He is a dictator, but we have dealt with dictators all over the world. Our strategic national interests should govern those relations, not emotions.

Why did Hillary and the Dems perpetrate the Russia hoax, which only worsened our bilateral relations? It became an obsession. Trump was called a Russian agent by the former head of the CIA.

We had a modus vivendi with Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union. We worked cooperatively with them in many areas, including space. Russia was not a conventional military threat to Europe.

We are now back to the Cold War days and even worse. We declared economic war on Russia and implemented the harshest sanctions on them in our history excluding North Korea. We did it without thinking through the global consequences. Americans are bearing the pain of sanctions along with Europe. Over the sovereignty of Ukraine?

I disagree. You have defended him at every step.

The policies you advocate are simply allowing him to take what he wants.

Even Trump was opposed to that.

We may be looking at $35. a lb. this year for our spiny lobster here in the Keys

Yeah, you don't want those.

You should just get the less expensive and way superior Maine Lobster....with two giant succulent flavorful claws....and lots of melted butter.

Maine lobsters are actually lobsters.

Spiny lobsters are just big crawdads.
