Not in the case of Germany, the ambassador there referred to the German chancellor in such a way as to damage the relations.

They are Ukrainians - They were probably skimming/freelancing or were pro Russia before the invasion.
Trump should learn something from this...don’t put a bunch of Donors/Deep state hacks in your Ambassador corps...Don’t put the guy who funded the wuhan lab on you pandemic responcce team... and you can fire people... like on that show you had.
Most likely he was tired of his foreign ambassadors insulting their hosts, as the numerous “sulky liver sausage” comments about Germany’s Scholz would indicate. Not exactly the look you want when you’re trying to get Western backing.

Kyiv’s relations with Germany, which is heavily reliant on Russian energy supplies and also Europe’s biggest economy, have been a particular sensitive matter.
The two capitals are currently at odds over a German-made turbine undergoing maintenance in Canada. Germany wants Ottawa to return the turbine to Russian natural gas giant Gazprom to pump gas to Europe.
Kyiv has urged Canada to keep the turbine, saying that shipping it to Russia would be a violation of sanctions imposed on Moscow.

I read about that turbine in Canada. Germany won’t be happy if Canada keeps it.
