Dressed in military camouflage with an assault rifle at the ready, "Prof" Yeh peers from behind a vehicle in a parking lot outside Taipei, scanning his surroundings and waiting for a signal to advance.
Yeh actually works in marketing, and his weapon is a replica -- but he is spending the weekend attending an urban warfare workshop to prepare for what he sees as the very real threat of a Chinese invasion.
"The Russia-Ukraine war is a big reason why I came to this workshop," 47-year-old Yeh, whose call sign during training is "Prof", tells AFP during a break between sessions.
When Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his troops to invade Ukraine at the end of February, he gave shape to the darkest fears of many Taiwanese.
The self-governed democracy lives under constant threat from authoritarian China, which views the island as part of its territory and has pledged to take it one day.
But the war in Ukraine has also inspired Yeh.

Ukraine is losing a 1000 soldiers per day. Why would any country want to model its strategy?
“why China is actually good”
The shills might even attempt to argue that China does not have affirmative action to discriminate against native Chinese.

From one of FR's Putinists, of the Q-tard variety, on Xi and Putin "white hats":
"When Trump got into power the deep state lost Saudi Arabia. The puppet strings were cut. According to Q, Hillary Clinton tried to make a deal. Q said no. Ukraine remained though. Ukraine had biolabs. They had human trafficking. Soros controlled the country with ease. All was well. They had Covid. They had their plans but White hats were 17 steps ahead. Call it looking glass. Call it genius. Call it whatever you like. They knew what to do. Putin and Xi hate the Satanists. They hate the NWO. Trump steps aside from the public eye. He’s insulated. Putin can remove Ukraine from the chess board. They’ve lost their main hub."

I can also think of several other Putinists who are already blaming the US for a Chinese invasion of Taiwan that hasn't happened yet, much like the Putinists blame the US for the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Forgot to ping you since I quoted your Xi Jingping “white hat” stupidity. See post I am responding to.
I think on some level you know you are perverse and abnormal in your thinking, hence you refuse to believe in the existence of normality. It's a coping mechanism.
Tell us again about “normal conservatives” and why on earth would a warmonger like you consider yourself one?
When your children or relatives finally have you tied up and committed, and maybe they see your posts and present them to doctors, or when the world becomes sane again and future scientists are studying your psychosis, I would like to point out to your future doctors that your psychosis involves a total inversion of reality. Russian or Chinese military preparations, going back years, followed by actual invasions of far smaller countries, are defined as "defensive actions," while western reactions to said invasions--no matter how docile, minor, and full of appeasement-- are defined as "imperialist warmongering."
Still waiting for an explanation as to how a Neocon like yourself can describe yourself as a “normal conservative”?
Interesting post you linked to and I don’t disagree with it.
Like I said, the division on FR is between low-IQ unhinged conspiracy freaks and normal people, and the freaks will convert to being CCP shills very easily.
Of course, you are using the term “Cold War thinking” as criticism of those people who believe that Russia is still dangerous. The relevant questions are: Is Russia still imperialist? Does Russia want to subjugate its neighbors? Is the Russian government still despotic? What do Russia’s neighbors think about Russia? You and other Putin apologists don’t seem to ask these questions. You ignore that Putin himself said that the Ukrainians have no right to be an independent nation.
After all the centuries of the Russian imperialism and despotism, the burden of proof is on Russia. Russia has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it is no longer imperialist and despotic.
Please substitute America as it's currently constituted with Russia, and answer each question honestly then get back to me
