In the video, the department said a reward of $20,000 was being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

I’m good with capital punishment for murder, I want it firmly implanted in minds that the price will be paid in full.
For other crimes, jail should equal work. Doing things for the State (picking up garbage, public works, etc.). Hell, make it a marketable work force to cover the cost of their incarceration. I have to work to survive, they have to work to survive. Perfectly acceptable that they put in hours and be accountable just like everyone else earning a living outside of jail.
Don’t want to work? Don’t want to contribute while in prison? Then you don’t eat. This may sound harsh - but what if I choose not work? What price would my family and I pay?
We have a culture problem. It is a cancer that will devour the civil society. It’s not going to correct itself through touchy-feely outreach programs, midnight basketball, etc. It is being enabled by CRT, acceptance of deviant lifestyles, lack of traditional values, faith and apathy by those who should know better.
Government is also at fault here:
When a prosecutor’s office decides not to punish for theft under $750....
When a BLM ‘mostly peaceful’ protest results in property looted and burned...
When prison sentences are drastically shortened, and criminals simply walk through the revolving door...
When America is invaded at our southern border and takes no action...
A cultural change in government must happen as well.
Sorry for the rant, this stuff pisses me off.
The killers are easily identified, so I hope we find out how this all ends up.
“’Teens’ is generally ferals under 30 though usually male, usually black. . .”
Wow, great analogy. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but remember the characters as having similarities to our current criminal culture.
There needs to be punishment for crime, a no bullshit sentence handed down for those found guilty. Fill the jails and build more if needed, eventually this screwed up culture would get the message. In parallel, help those who want to contribute to the civil society (schools, trades, jobs, etc.). But immediately, there needs to be a price for crime.

I don’t think anyone could do a better job laying out the solution to problem than you have here. Thanks for posting it!
Putting them in prison will do no good other than taking them off the streets for a while.

Depends on how long “a while” is and what the conditions are where they are incarcerated. Ten years at hard labor with no entertainment, recreation, or contact with anyone on the outside would be a major deterrent to future criminal activity.
What’s wrong with firing squads and hangings>

The only thing I see wrong with those methods of execution is that they’re not employed often enough!
Sorry for the rant, this stuff pisses me off.

Don’t apologize. What you’ve written expresses the thinking of millions of people. How do I know that? Well, because there are millions of people in this country who have NOT allowed themselves to be brainwashed by those in government, the media, the entertainment industry, and the churches and school systems attempting to destroy our Constitutional Republic. And our ranks are increasing everyday thanks to the anti-American policies of that freaking moron for whom the Deep State engineered the theft of the 2020 election.
There’s no hope for some cultures. Too far gone. Steeped in toxicity for too long. Too many people making excuses and not wanting to face reality. The Dems, if they do anything, will do bandaid stuff. I feel sorry for any decent person having to live in such an extreme situation.
Sadly, I sense a French style revolution coming and it’s going to be one of those that gets out of control real quick.
When our ability to have a mostly honest election... That was the last nail in the coffin of America for me.
In a French-style revolution, the clergy and business owners get killed. Bad example.
I did say it would get out of control rather quickly. That was my point.
“ In the early 1970’s I saw the movie A Clockwork Orange. It was violent and vicious but at the end of the day it was just make-believe. Seeing that video makes me think it was a movie ahead of its time.”
It was shocking at the time but I think Hollywood has de-sensitized a lot of us to terrible things. I still remember his probation officer drinking from the glass with dentures in it thinking they were ice cubes. The violence, not so much.
Amen.
What a horrible way to die.
